As a priesthood holder of the church, I had the special opportunity to perform a Baptism for my younger sister. A few days before, as I had been carelessly walking up the stairs in my home, I had rammed my foot into the hand railing turning the corner. After which it left a very noticeable bruise on one of my toes. I looked again at my toe a few days later and decided that it was not to go away for even a week or more. The next day was the baptism, as I had dressed all in white and awaited for my sister to finish and come out a sat in the metal chairs assorted in the room, I looked down and to my amazement my toe had been completely fine, no bruise whatsoever not even any sign of bruising. Some of you make think oh just a coincidence, but in a way it touched me, I thought about what I was about to to and what it was going to mean for my sister. The word 'purity' came to mind, and I felt that what baptism is for, to purify the spirit.

If you have any experiences or stories to tell, please do!

Alright I guess I'll post another XD

OK as some of you may know my mission call is coming up so my leaders got together and prepared to give me the Melchizedek Priesthood. To back track a bit before this, I have a picture of Gordon B. Hinckley. For the longest time I had the feeling of (when I looked at the picture) keep the commandments, keep strong in the spirit, and other things you think a Prophet would advise you. However after I had received the Melchizedek Priesthood (Which was amazing of course!) my eyes met with the picture once again, however I had a very different feeling of this picture. The feeling of familiarity was the first and the second was a feeling of him being proud of me making it this far. The real interesting part of this is that that day I had taught Personal Revelation to my 12~13 year old class, and is exactly what I felt at that time. I then told this to my older sister and she told me something interesting afterward that I had not thought of. I have heard often that people are really drawn to the church because all of the information in the BoM seems familiar. She then told me that when I had a sense of familiarity with his picture that I must have been acquainted with him in the "Premortal Existence". When I heard that I was really surprised but somehow it felt right.

I hope in some way this message can help you feel the spirit in some way, and I pray for the best for all of you.
