Alright well sort of... I was just reading up on Wikipedia and stuff and happened to think 'Huh, I wonder - did Bowie get Bowie from Jim Bowie?'.
[Jim Bowie - pronounced Boo-e - is really famous here in Texas were he has a college and town named after him]
So I searched it up and happened to find he did. Except he thought it was for the hero of the Alamo, though he was a vegetable during the Alamo. And the coolest part, Jim Bowie is my great-great-great-great grandfather. Soooo Bowie got his inspiration and name from my relative. :OOOOO

I thought he wanted a 'cutting' edge name like Mick 'Jagger' and bowie is the name of a knife..

I just thought he was bored, because he pronounces it 'wrong'.
And the Bowie knife is after Jim Bowie.
So I am also connected to a giant 'throat slitting' knife.

This is gonna sound religious, but I'm not...
If you use the Christian belief that we are all from Adam and Eve...well technically we are all related. So we are all distant cousins from David...or something like that. sweatdrop
