A dark blue cub padded his way through the area. While his silver paws trekked through the tall grasses, unseen. He kept himself low to the ground, to hide from the others in the area. He led himself to a small puddle of water, to lap a few sips of the liquid, before darting rapidly behind the closest stub of a tree.
Aki shivered, and kept his distance from the rustling noises. He peeked from the log, and found nothing in front of him. In a rush, he fled from behind the tree and came around to hide. Something was near, and he didn't want to associate with it. After being separated from his parents, he lost memory of what they looked like, how they treated and acted towards him. His mind was blank now, and he found himself clinging to literally anything that could act as a parent towards him. He was alone in this world now, and it would take another soul to comfort him.

The rustling stopped and started every few seconds, and grew louder with each new thud and crack. Soon, a full-grown leopard boy tumbled out of the foliage, rolling head-over-heels straight past the stump, through the puddle, and into a bush. After a few moments of sputtering, the bewildered leopard stuck his head out, spitting out a few leaves and a thorn or two.
"Bloody rabbit.... Unbelievable..." He tugged himself out of the bush, shook his fur free of the water, and began pacing. "Un... be..... lievable." Then, spotting, the puddle, he padded over to get a quick drink, all the time muttering "unbelievable' under his breath.

The young cub heard the voice speaking, and peered over the log to spot a leopard. Squinting in confusion, Aki'ada whined as the male dipped down to take a sip of the water that he had his own maw in moments previously. He backed up, and folded his ears back, hoping that the large adult male wouldn't notice and hurt him.
Aki shook his fur and shivered vigorously. "Pleeeaaase stay away ..."

It was then that Kago caught the cub's scent. A lion... In the jungle? Twitching, he perked his ears up, listening to the sound of the young one's voice.
"Lion..." He grunted, turning to face the log. "Come out, lion." There were a few lions in the jungle, but they always kept to themselves. He had mistaken the lion cub for an intruder, when really it was he who was the one intruding. "Show yourself!"
