Terra stumbled forward slowly, then knelt in front of the water. He removed his gauntlets, showing bloody, battered hands, which he plunged under the water. He cried out in pain and shock; for the water stung and was colder than anything he had felt before. He raised his hands to his lips and drank, ignoring the blood he also swallowed. Terra sat back, the water strangely giving him energy, and he turned to Riku. "His back was turned. We could have got him."

Riku turned to Terra and grunted in amusement, shaking his head and letting out comical sigh. "You just don't get it, do you?" Riku turned around and held his hands out wide. "Come on, Terra! This needed to happen, it was SUPPOSED to happen! The reason it happened was because fate willed it to do so!" Riku, cupped his face and bent down next to Terra. "I'll explain it shortly, ok? Something you should be sure to remember: all fates are inevitable, you know that. He even said it himself. I should think you remembered him telling you this, no?"

Terra brushed off Riku's hands harshly. "Frankly, I don't. Been conked in the head too many times, I guess. But you know I don't believe in fate. It was fate for you to hurt us to the point of near death, then not lets us attack? Can you hear why I am not believing?"
(Yeah, terra likes violence. I'm just playing the part. Taking some creative liberties. Meepit)

The Revelation
~~*
"Aqua," Ventus cried out. He was surrounded by nothing but darkness. "Aqua, please! I don't understand!" He threw his hands on the ground and whimpered. "Please, just...please...please..."
"Xehanort."
Ventus sat up, his head whipping from side to side. "Wh-who said that?"
"Xehanort, do you have any recollection of anything?" The voice was strong and deep. A hazy picture appeared in front of Ventus. All he could make out was two figures standing facing each other.
"No, I don't." The words came from Ven's mouth, but it didn't sound like his voice. The voice that projected from Ventus' throat was soft, smooth and quizzical. "I wish I could, but I just can't. When I try to remember-in your terms-my head pounds. It's very painful, to say the least." The picture began to develop more clearly. He could see that there were two men, one with short brown hair, and one with long white hair. The style of hair was almost identical.
"Ha, I might have guess just as much. Xehanort, I hate you, with all of my being I hate you. All that is left of my torn existence is my hatred for you." The brown haired man crossed his arms. "Well, if you are the other side, the other story, then I guess you owe me something." The picture was almost fully developed. Xehanort nodded politely, and spoke.
"How so?" Xehanort looked truly lost, a look of incredulous naivety on his features. The words flowed from Ventus' mouth.
"It is time you give me back the other half of the story, Xehanort." The picture fully developed. An older looking Terra stood in a familiar, sandy rock-filled world, facing an aged Xehanort. Aqua stood behind Terra, Ventus leaning on her side. The three of them, Aqua Terra and Ventus, were grasping two Keyblades each. Aqua's two were her signature blue crystal-like blade, and a key with a gold blade and silver handle; Ven held his original Keyblade, plus a hybrid blade, made up of a devil wing for the blade and an angel's wing protruding from the side; lastly, Terra held his many-pronged golden Keyblade and a keyblade with a gold handle and silver blade. Xehanort, however, merely held a kingdom crown pendant in his hands and a book of neatly organized records.
"Well, now it's coming back. Yes, I should say so, too, that it is time we settle things now, so as to get this whole mess corrected." Xehanort pulled a keyblade from the ground. "Sleeping Lion shall do just fine, I think. Either way, Terra, whichever one of us loses, we both gain something in return, now, true?"
"We will see about that." Xehanort and Terra walked away, about 100 yards apart. Xehanort raised Sleeping Lion to shoulder height and waved it.
"You made a fine other, Terra."
Ventus understood now. The information came fully into his consciousness.
Xehanort--An other--another
Another Side, Another Story
Dark/Light Realm--Another story
"Xehanort, you are the other side. You are the other story."

Kairi felt a sudden rush in her mind.
Sora.
The name sounded familiar. But she couldn't recall. She stood still on the beach, letting the wind ruffle her shoulder-length hair.
Sora stirred in his memory restoration pod.

Aqua stirred on the ground. Something in her gut told her it was almost time. She looked over to see Ventus on his knees, staring wide-eyed at the ground.
"Terra is..." Ventus looked up at Aqua, his mouth hanging open in shock. Aqua pursed her lips and stood up, grabbing her Keyblade. She bent down next to him and helped him up. Aqua opened a large, oval-like black portal, and they walked together into the blackness, but not before Aqua caught sight of a young boy with spiky, brown hair running towards a red-headed man.

The future story is coming up extremely soon. Don't know what the future story is? I'll explain. We all know that Xehanort can be translated as An other or Another. Another Side Another Story. Xehanort has two sides, or he has his current body and his other in the realm of darkness. In the KH2 English SE, the three knights all held the three main Keyblades (Sora's, Riku's and Mickey's). In the KH2 FM+ SE, they didn't hold them. Why is this? Because the FM+ SE is set before the English SE. The shady figure in the English SE clearly had hair, while the FM+ was very bald.
English SE is set in the future, while the FM+ SE is set in the past.

Ventus and Aqua stood at the ready. The time had come, and Terra had been taken down by Xehanort. Xehanort laughed as he stepped towards Terra's crumpled body. He placed his hands over Terra and absorbed his being, Terra dissappearing into Xehanort's palms.
"Hearts are power..." Xehanort boomed, and darkness swirled around the last three wielders; Aqua looked at Ventus; Ventus gazed at Aqua: both joined hands and held onto Terra's keyblade together, shouting screams of rage as they rose in the air and landed on a two-person glider. Xehanort had taken his place on an intricate throne atop his resurrected silver dragon ship. Aqua took the seat car, while Ventus rode next to her on a small platform.
"Get ready, Xehanort. It all ends here!" Ventus bellowed as the glider shot forward. Black neon buildings shot at them from nowhere, but Aqua sliced through them skillfully without breaking a sweat. Ventus rocketed off of the palform towards an armor-clad Xehanort. Ventus turned around and heard Aqua scream as she was thrown off the glider and into the dark air, the vehicle being sucked into the mass of dark matter surrounding the three. She landed roughly next to Ventus, hers and Terra's keyblades in hand.
"Rrrrrragh!" Xehanort sliced at them with a long, sharp, red sword, missing them by inches. Sora latched onto Aqua's forearm and swung themselves at Xehanort, striking him three times, before plunging the keyblades into his armor. They jumped back and looked at each other. Aqua was no longer Aqua. She had taken the appearance of a girl with long blonde hair, wearing a pure white gown and holding a very flowery keyblade and the King's Keyblade. The king...Ventus looked the same as usual, but he was now holding the hybrid wing blade and Oblivion. Ventus did not know how he knew this, but he now knew he was not Ventus, nor Ven.
"Roxas! Hurry!" Namine said from his side, dashing forward and casting a double blizzard spell on Xehanort, who cried out in pain. Roxas raised Way to Dawn and pointed it straight at Xehanort, a beam of thin white light piercing the metal armor and into the heart. Namine pointed Mickey's Key at him and shot him in the direct same place. Something strange and unnnerving began to happen. Xehanort seemed to freeze on the spot, except for his blue leather cape billowing behind him. The scenery changed. They were now facing a bald man with yellow eyes and a servant next to him. Namine and Ventus turned to see Riku standing next to them. They were shot into the sky by the yellow eyed man.
"Riku!" Ventus looked at him deeply. Namine took both of them by the arms and turned them towards the bald man, who was now gliding at a frightening speed towards them. Roxas had a sudden realisation, an epiphany. the bald man now had a long head of blonde hair, wearing a red scarf. His servant flew next to him, now removing his helmet. It was a very young Xehanort, his brown eyes swimming with emotion.
"Roxas, Namine, Riku, finish this at once!" Ansem bellowed, throwing his arms out so that he was spread-eagled. Riku nodded to them. Namine seemed to know everything that was happening. Ventus was very confused, but he did as he was told. The three of them...

The keyblade twirled slowly in the air, and then the world stopped. Three hands reached for it: Sora, Roxas, Ven. All connected, all fated. Locked in combat were two cut from the same cloth--Terra's blade pressing against that of Xehanort, both faces contorted with fury. The King was yelling, his hand still stretched from where it had been when he had thrown his blade, the Shadow Replica slamming its sword into his back. Namine and Kairi were surrounded by Nobodies, who were intent on never letting them get out alive. Time was stopped. Then all three hands touched the blade, and all hell broke loose.
Sora had the Kingdom Key, rushing toward the King, blade held high. A Firaga ball to the side destroyed several Nobodies, and then Roxas was there. Oblivion and Oathkeeper twirled, cutting through the Nobodies like paper. Ven charged Xehanort, screaming, now armed with his Broken Blade. Sora's slice cut through the faceplate of the Shadow Replica; Roxas destroyed the remaining nobodies with a floruish and ran towards Terra. Ven cut at Xehanort, but the man disappeared. Suddenly fingers grabbed at Ven's head, crushing his faceplate. Sora never relented his barrage on the Shadow, and finally his mask broke. Underneath was Riku. Mickey stood up, shaking, and his own keyblade, which had disappeared when touched, returned to his hand. Silently, all the warriors turned to face Xehanort. The villain threw Ven towards Terra, but suddenly, Aqua was there, holding the young boy.
Sora was the first to charge, and as he swung his weapon he became Roxas, who in turn became Ven as the Keyblade bit into Xehanort's skull. Everyone else was gone; it was only them. Sora raised his keyblade, Roxas smirked, and Ven remained motionless. A burst of light from the end of the Keyblade burned through the bald Wizard, and Xehanort died.
(Is that weird enough?)

Terra gasped, leaning away from the water, the flood of images overcoming his senses. "Something's going to happen. Or is happening. Or has. How long have we been here?" He clutched his head. "Ven... Aqua... I don't know if they're all right."

~Epilogue~
"Are they at peace?" Number XIV inquired, facing the sun. It bathed her face in a warm glow, and she felt warm for the first time in a long time. She realized what she had to do. But first, she had to know.
"Hmph...of course not." The brunette man said, his arms crossed. "There, torment will never end." He let out an agitated sigh as he leaned up against a rock.
"So...you're not Ven?" She turned around, slightly smiling. The brunette looked away.
"Yes, I am...that is my name, and my identity." He scratched his nose, flinching when he accidentally brushed the long scar that stretched across his face.
"You dress like him, somewhat." She commented on his clothing choice; half of a tan coat with a red collar and checkered stripes on the sleeves. The other was half of a black undershirt. Two securing red straps reached from the back of his pants to the front, criss-crossing at his chest.
"I am him." He looked down at the ground and snuffed. "It's always been that way..."
"Well, I guess this is goodbye." Number XIV held out her hand and smiled meekly. "You shake it, Ven."
The man held out his hand and shook hers. A glow emanated from the contact.
"See you in the next life, So-" Her words were cut off, and she was gone.
A pang sounded in the back of his mind. His heart ached for something shrouded, something out of reach, yet very much there. He was reminded of a brown-haired, free-spirited boy from far back, and he smiled to himself.
"Yeah, definitely." He walked away, whistling to himself as Kingdom Key clanged dimly on his back.
What lay ahead for him was yet to be revealed, but somehow...
Sora knew it would turn out ok.
