OK, I got a problem.
What category am I in in the Lolita fashion, or if I am in it at all.
I am confused, cause I'm thinking to myself, what fashion am I classified as?
I am an artist, and so I love colors.
The funny thing is, I wear black skirts (no petticoat, since I don't have time to make/buy one) and wear either a black long sleeve shirt, or a black cut and sew.
I wear stripped socks (any color) and then wear converse... that are black and have a lot of colors on the inside, yeah. Not to mention all the stone beads I wear on my neck. And those metal bracelets with crosses on them... and jelly bracelets. My jewelery is really colorful, and I like to wear cupcake cult (type of jewelery).
I like to put a little bit of neon colored eyeshadow.
And my nails are always a dark purple or black.
And I love listening to techno the most.
Any help?
Edit: I just got some stuff! And now I feel like I am fitting in. yeah...

not really lolita
or extreeeeeemly casual punk lolita i suppose? honestly only the skirt seems rather loli...but even then not so much so im going to go with punk for my answer rather then punk loli....
if you added a petticoat and maryjanes maybe some more loli acessories (hair clips wtih bows and stuff ect) youd be more lolita

I agree with Alice. o: I see it more punk than casual/punk lolita to the extreme.

Let me try to rephrase some things to see if it might help. The skirts are more of pleated skirts that have buckles on them and the other ones are black skirts with lace hanging off of them. And the long sleeve shirts are either button down blouses or...a long sleeve shirt, yeah. And I guess I should work on the accesories, thanks. ^-^

You don't sound like you dress lolita at all.
You sound like you dress in just a normal alternative punkish style who has an interest in the lolita subculture.
If anything it reminds me of that time I was at the Commons in my black tube dress that has a balloon skirt. I was also wearing white knee high striped stockings, mary janes, and a satin ribbon choker bow necklace do-hicky. My hair was pulled back and I looked nothing like a lolita. I walked to the manga section to see what was in (I didn't buy anything that day xD ) and as soon as I was back there some worker came running up to me "HOMG! You're so cute! You look so lolita! Just look at you!"
I ran and found my boyfriend at the time and started sobbing about some lady though I was dressed as a lolita when I clearly was not. He looked at what I was wearing and said "You're totally not in lolita. That Meta stuff of yours that's coming in defintiely is though!"

That's not really lolita... at all... I guess if you started adding more lolita elements into it -- like get a petticoat, to start, some punk lolita accesories... you might be able to pull together a casual punk loli look.
At least, that's just my suggestion if you're looking to ease your way into the style.
