Is this the power of the stones or me coming through? has anybody else had things like this happen to them or am I crazy?
Which do you want to believe? There's no way to prove either way which was the cause or even if either of these was the cause. What do you feel, in your gut, is the answer to this question? Did you feel a sort of energy coming from the objects themselves or did you feel that the energy was coming more from within yourself? Regardless, using tools can produce both of the effects you speak of. We can use the energies they have to enhance our own, or simply using them as symbols allows us to release energies we often have trouble using otherwise. So the answer might be a combination of these two ideas or something else entirely. For example...
I've used my pendulum for example to focus energy. Is that energy coming from me or the silver chain and the stone? I feel it is mostly coming form me, but that the stone is acting as a conduit which focuses and amplifies it.
