Apparently the firenation has schools, and a lot of propaganda. Maybe Zuko will get to meet some old school mates while they're in the firenation?

I imagine that the Firenation is a lot like feudal Japan.
points supporting this
1. Hair style
2. Pointy outfits
3. Family Honor
4. Kill or be Killed attitude
5. Both are volcanic crescent island groups
6. In Shinto the national religion of Japan there are many gods and goddess but there main deity is Amatarasu the SUN goddess who is believed to be the grandmother of the first emperor Emperor Jimmu.
7. Red or Crimson is a Japanese holy colour that is used in Shinto temples and such.

The firenation as a whole is not evil in the way Nazi Germany as a whole was not evil... Hear me out on this.... Both were STUPID! Both were victims of brainwashing with the higher-ups being the evil ones. But the general people... they either have no clue what is going on, or they are brainwashed to think they are doing the world a favor by waging this war. It's actually eerie how Bryke managed to make the Firenation so much like the Nazi-germany I learned about in history. It just goes to show you that when we follow stupid leaders and listen to their lies, we take part in a larger evil. (although fire is FUN!!!! *is a total wannabe-pyro)
