x_LoveObject_x xX_Wrath_Xx I want to cry but.... I don't know whta to do...... Neji and Chouji are..... are you serious? I gotta go see...... I said they have killed, not they were killed sweatdrop No one still said anything about Hidan and Kakuzu. Was I the only one that wanted more past on them? Most other villains got a past... And Kakashi's saying 'You fought the First' made me think he'd seen him before, or knew who he was, and hinted at his age and all... then it was all we got ><; aww you knw I do XD I wanna know more abouth Jashinism! XD I mean.. it really cant be a big religion cinsidering he's the first person we see ever even mention it. *sniffle* they need to dig him up.... *tackle hidan*

I can't really be bothered to say anything, but you got my heart beating xD I thought you said Neji, Chouji and Shikamaru were dead! Anyway, I know that has nothing to do with anything..but you have a point.

Now that I am completely calm, I can explain....
Which is "more evil", or what?
Sasuke gave himself to darkness and offered his body, killed those he was told and killed his emotions, to attain his goal. Or...
That he used Orochimaru (this not saying that Orochimaru would have let him kill Itachi hand-to-hand before taking his body like Sasuke wanted. Honestly, I don't think he would have.) to teach him and did NOT kill, then decided his first kill to be Orochimaru. Another question--Does Sasuke think maybe he can get the same power as Itachi if he kills Orochimaru? What makes a person a "closest friend" after all? Orochimaru has been the closest to Sasuke the whole two and a half years. So that may be what he's after, that and realizing Orochimaru might have lied about letting him kill Itachi first.
I know my personal love of sacrifice and loyalty is an issue for my choice, but I was wondering what other's thought. Is this better than the first, eh? sweatdrop THIS is what I was trying to say, and now I'm articulate enough to get it out. Calmly XD

xD Yes, I understand what you're saying now. I got it a while back, though originally I'll admit that I was missing it. I still think, though, that your love of Orochimaru is putting what Sasuke is doing in a worse light than it would normally. Besides, do you honestly think that Orochimaru would do any different, were he in Sasuke's position? He waited until the Sandaime was at his weakest to kill him, after all. I think, still, that both Sasuke and Orochimaru are, in this sense, simply logical. As I said before, if Sasuke wants to leave, the best thing to do is instead of waiting for Orochimaru to chase him and force a battle on his terms, it's better to confront him when he's not ready. Sasuke is no idiot, he knows that Orochimaru is going to be a powerful opponent. He, like Orochimaru with Sandaime, is choosing the time when his odds are best. I don't think it has anything to do with being evil or cruel or anything like that, as killing a hundred people for no reason might. It is just the logical thing to do.
And, above everything else, we have to remember that Sasuke is, in a sense, very selfish. He sees his goal and only his goal, and if Orochimaru can no longer help him reach it, then it is very in-character for Sasuke to decide to leave, especially if killing Orochimaru will help him gain the mangekyo, as you said. I know a lot of people have complained, saying that this is very OOC for Sasuke, but I find it so incredibly IC that I'm surprised no one (including me) really saw it coming ^^;

Seriously.... if it took two chapters to kill him off, I will be pissed. If Kishimoto treats one such an important character like this... just what could he do to others? At least Asuma went out with more of a fight!! My one hopeful measure is that if it's Sasuke, he seems to be uninterested in harming Kabuto sweatdrop .... I vote for split personality. That would be ... interesting.
Kabuto: "Just which...one are you?"
Sidetext: Sasuke and Orochimaru--one is gone and one remains. But the one in that body is...!?

*Orochimaru is cut up. The battle is over pretty quickly. Sasuke transforms back to his normal self but this was all a part of Orochimaru’s trap. Sasuke’s body goes numb and unable to move because of Orochimaru’s now likely vaporized and airborne fluids. Sasuke gets sucked up into Orochimaru’s mental world.

Orochimaru has a flashback of his days with Akatsuki where he uses the same technique on Itachi but his abilities are disabled and he is held down by Itachi’s powerful eye techniques. In the mental world Sasuke is being held down while trying to resist Orochimaru.

The scene changes to where Kabuto rushes over to see what’s going on. As Sasuke passes by him Kabuto asks, “Just which one are you?”

I'm in a bad mood right now. Kishimoto is always killing my favorite characters. I guess it's what I get for loving the bad guys, but still. crying
It really does chafe me that the fight between Sasuke and Orochimaru was so... ugh, I don't know how to say it. *mutter mutter*

It was so... lacking. I understand, bad guys get pwned all the time, it's the way story lines work, but with a track record like his it's almost offensive for him to go in a way that's so lacking of 'blaze of glory' type events.
