Furekatsu Anjiru (( For Tam ))
Mable's breath came in ragged gasps as she leaned back against a rock. Her wide eyes showed white with fear around the edges as they watched the dark figure looming before her. Body trembling the female could feel needles prickling under her skin as her fur was painted with blood. Meskeet, however, showed no sign of tension.
The cold-hearted seer stood with her shoulders high and her head lowered, yellow eyes were locked unblinkingly unto the reduced form of her sister. There was no sweeter satisfaction in life than finally reaching the moment you'd craved for as long as you could remember. Mable wasn't their mother, but she was close enough in appearance and Meskeet's memories that it made little difference.
Kraken lay low, covered in the shadows of the trees. Meskeet was well aware the pup was present, but at that moment in time it didn't matter. Kraken and Amoy had served their purposes. Lurring Mable to this place. Even if a spare pup had been nabbed along the way. Lestat felt terribly wrong as he glanced between his newly discovered mother and aunt, and the pups hiding on the side. Eli shouldn't have even been there. He was so screwed if Phib found out about this.
"Meskeet." Mable whined, face turning miserably pale colors as an ashen tinge lit in her cheeks. "Don't do this. Please. Mommy would be so upset."
Snarling the seer lept at her sister once more. teeth making her way to the beta's throat she couldn't help but feel victorious. Her world would be far better without this female in it.
Lestat growled and lept at his mother. Tearing at her shoulder he worked steadily to place himself between the two females. He wouldn't be ordered around by anyone. Even Meskeet.
Kraken huddled next to her brother in hopes of keeping him quiet. She couldn't see, of course, but from what she could hear it generally wasn't a pretty sight.

Eli whined, pacing back and forth as pups huddled behind her and as Lestat stood in front of her. This situation was bad--REALLY bad. Her mother wouldn't want her dealing with this (and neither would Aunt Hallie) but if she left now, she thought that her 'look-alike' would go after her and bloody her up just as she had the lighter female. What had Mable done wrong?
"Lestat.. Eli.. Eli is scared!" she whimpered softly, hoping that Meskeet was too preoccupied to really notice any mini-conversation going on behind her. "Can't Lestat stop it?" Even as she asked it, she doubted the answer would be yes. Meskeet was a scary wolf.
Which was why Eli was completely surprised when the male leapt forward and intercepted his mother. She wouldn't like that! Tucking her tail between her legs, the brown female crawled backwards, nearly stepping all over the two pups Amoy and Kraken. The deaf twin nearly screamed, and he stumbled away, pushing his sister to 'save' her from the big brown monster.
"Why are we here?" he cried, making himself appear as small as possible against his sister.
Eli whined. "Sorry!"

Furekatsu Anjiru Turning on her son with rage firmly rooted in her eyes, Meskeet was far from ready to leave things alone for the day. Snarling, Lestat dropped to the ground as his face filled with an expression of deep anguish at the terrible sounds filling his mind. Mable at least knew better than to attack a seer. Instead she took the moment of distraction to make an attempt at crawling away towards the pups.
Her advancements were stopped short as the Seer lept at her once more, Lestat rising quickly behind her. Equally determined the youth slammed into his mother's side and the two rolled off into the brush with a flurry of snapping and tearing.
Pulling herself to her feet the beta panted as she looked down at the frightened pups. Their fear was perhaps the worst part of the entire situation. "Hush little ones." She cooed. "Escape when no ones looking."
Someone was bound to come looking for the pups. Right? At least Eli. Yes, someone would surely come quickly for that particular pup.
Kraken bit into Amoy's ear with a mock growl. Letting go she swung her head around blindly. "Eli and Amoy need to shut up. Or you're going to get us in trouble, and then you'll really be sorry."

Eli watched in horror as Meskeet turned on her son and then Lestat quickly fell in utter and complete pain. Unlike Mable, she did not know that this Meskeet was a seer, and so she was completely baffled as to why the boy was in pain. Maybe a bug had bit his ear? What if Meskeet had planted the bug? She was evil!
Flailing randomly, she rushed forward, then immediately fell back. Lestat was rolling over in a fight with his mother. This was disastrous!
As Mable whispered at them to escape when no one was looking, Eli shook her head. She refused to leave Lestat to that bug lady. Even though she doubted she could do much to help him, she wouldn't flee like a coward. Hallie had taught her to be tough and to never bail out on those who needed her. And Lestat seemed like he needed her.
"No! I'm staying!" she said defiantly, though one might not have believed her with her childish voice. But that didn't bother her.
Amoy, on the other hand, had no problem racing away in the first moment that was available. Having read the older wolf's lips, he was more than eager to get himself out of there. They shouldn't have been there in the first place! He had only gone because his mother had appeared pleased with him for once, pleased that he might actually be some use to someone.
"Come on, Kraken!" he cried, wiggling at the bite from her and whining. Normally she was the boss, but he wanted out!

Furekatsu Anjiru Normally Meskeet would habe had Lestat down and out in very little time at all, but today was most annoying. Not only had Mable brought along a little pup that actually resembled the seer herself, but some idiot was filling up her mind with the most ludicrus thoughts and ideas. She never would have believed someone could be so stupid if she hadn't grown up with Malady.
Flinging Lestat to the side the brown female lurched to her feet and shook her head aggressively in an attempt to clear her thoughts. There were times when hearing everyones' thoughts was the worst illness she could ever catch. But daisies floating through her mind as she was about to murder a relative? Now that was just insane. And she was a cannibal.
Growling she looked around for the source of these invasive whims. They were close, far too close. Scrambling back towards the make-shift clearing Meskeet stood snarling beside a tree as she glared with blazing yellow eyes at the wolf before her.
Wyatt was utterly confused. Glancing between the tattered beta and the hackling seer his brain decided to quit somewhere in the middle. Cracking a bewildered smile he rolled his shoulders back and attempted to break the tension with a startled "Heh...?"
Kraken snapped. Grabbing Eli by the scruff of her neck the blind pup began to drag the barely younger pup back towards Kiah's den. Amoy may have been one big failure, but for right now she'd let him try to be incharge. And hell, if things backfired, she could always blame him.

Eli yelped and struggled as she was dragged away by the blind female. She squirmed and tried to escape. She didn't want to leave! She wanted to help Lestat. She wanted to protect him from the evil bug lady. Meskeet couldn't be trusted, especially if she was going to go around planting biting bugs on her own son's fur.
"Let me go!" she growled lightly, flailing her paws and trying to hit Kraken. Normally she wasn't in the least violent, but she wasn't about to be dragged away so easily like that. She couldn't just leave, not now since there was a possible new threat.
Wyatt entered the scene, though she had no idea who in the world that wolf was. She thought maybe he was a minion of Meskeet, come to help the evil bug lady in her takeover of the world. But the way they reacted to one another, and the way Wyatt seemed completely lost just set her off of her original theory. Maybe he had come to assist Lestat? That would make her so happy, since she really didn't want her friend hurt.
Amoy whined as another wolf came into the picture, adding to the chaos. Glancing at his sister, he flailed and pounced at her, though it was more of a graceful trip.
"Don't hurt her, Kraken!" he wailed. Glancing to Wyatt, he yelled: "HELP."
