if Anime had a Hall of Fame i think it shoud be for the actors/actress and characters who help define anime. here's who i'd put in to get things rolling:
Johnny Yong Bosch-landing such roles as Trigun's Vash the Stampede, Akira's Kaneda in the 2001 re-dub, and Bleach's Ichigo, there's no stopping him in an anime role.
Goku Son-anime/manga's answer to Superman, the ultimate warrior of the Dragon Ball Universe. Love him or hate him, Goku has proven that heart and compassion are the true keys to victory.
Dr. Osamu Tezuka-creator of some of the greatest animes of all time. Bring anime fans the hits Astro Boy, Metropolis, and countless others, he is consider the Walt Disney of Japan.
Hayao Miyazaki-creator of some of the most amazing anime in recent years. Miyazaki is all you need to say to turn heads in the anime community. With the help of the Walt Disney Company, many of his films, including Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delievery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, and the award winning Spirited Away, Miyazaki has become a household name across the world.
Sakura Kinomoto/Avalon-the lead character of the widely popular series Card Captor Sakura (Card Captors in America) made by Clamp. Sakura is a bright young girl doing her best in school, love, and saving the world. Sakura is a strong character who should be seen as role model to girls everywhere. Her character lives on in the latest Clamp series Tsubasa -RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE.
Clamp-an all female team of manga creators. Some of their biggest and best titles have become anime favorites (Card Captor Sakura, Tsubasa -RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Chobits).

johnny for sure, he has in almost every anime, euerka 7, and fullmetal alchemist, as well as the other anime stated above. plus he was a power ranger, i mean how cool is that
i would also put in kid muscle, becuase he is the pro wrestling galactic chamipion, not many people can say that. plus he gave the world the muscle buster and for that i cannot thank him enough

I'm surprised the Tentacle monster, that is usually in every anime (not just the porn), isn't winning an award.
