Draqx points to the only other door besides the enterance and the back room leading to the elevator.
'Right there, if you have any problems with the older design just push the intercomm button by the door.'

"That mean you'll come in and help?" Minerva asked with a soft chuckle. She headed to the door, the suit in her arms. "I should be fine, but I'll call if I need you."

Draqx just shakes his head and chuckles and grins with a reply.
'Nay, it only means I'll talk you through it, you should know better after so long... though its not for lack of trying on your part I assure you, the banter is a good way to keep the mind sharp mind you. '

"Of course I know better, which is probably why I keep up the banter. If I was serious, I'd be using my gun." Minerva chuckled, although it was hard to tell if she was serious about using her gun or not. She was prone to shoot people after all. She came back out a few minutes later wearing the suit. "Couldn't you have used a material that hmm...actually breathed." She moved around. "I feel like I'm coated in wax."

Draqx raised an eyebrow and quickly looked at the display telltales and pressed a button twice and the built in air circulation fans kicked into high moving air along the body and limbs cooling and ventilating the encased sections.
'Sorry bout that, should have told you that the old MK IIs had a manually controlled fan setting, low high auto and off. though the auto setting never really worked properly, they fixed that problem in the MK III though... least the MK II got rid of the faceplate fogging in the original MK I... The fans help provide the slight overpressure in case of a small leak, though it does make one feel a bit surrounded by thin ballons.'

"thin balloons, it's all a party." Minerva shrugged, "I still feel naked in these things." She looked around, "so where's the new toy?"

Draqx pointed with a thumb.
outside around back in the big rubble pile, I think it was once a large building that collapsed, the lower floors seem to be okay, the only reason noone really lives out here though is the backround emmisions and contaminanits, that and a distint lack of soil for growing anything, one of the harder hit places I have ever seen, almost as if it got more then its share of the nutron bombs back when there were still places that had them to spare...
((Back from dizzy land.))

(Dizzy land, or Disney land?)
Minerva headed out to the back, avoiding the rubble. The suit in general was easy enough to move in, once you got used to the feeling of being relatively naked.

((bit of both two days at six flags one each at disney and knotts berry))
Draqx followed in his protective gear, moving comfortably and smoothly with countless hours of practice that even the odd wind blown sand picked up by the odd gust did not seem to phaze. Though in truth it was more the internal stabilization system that did that then pure skil against some of the more unexpected gusts.
When they got to one somewhat dark unremarkibly featureless opening, not unlike the others in the area Draqx tapped out a sequence on his suits wrist control pad, old fashioned as it was compared to some of his experiments with direct nural interface, but it seemed to put others at ease a bit more to do things a more "manual way".
Inside the openeing small stips of light slowly brightened in a smoothly gradual way that tricked the eyes to if they were there to start of the natural process of the eye adjusting to low light situations. Further down the strips got more plentiful and brighter till in a significantly lager opening down the tunnel like enterance there was a chamber that was light like calm slightly blue daylight, not unlike a bright twilight in the mountains when the sun has gon behind a peak but the sky diffusing sufficent light to see clearly and with more ease as there was no single point of light but a general abient feel that was only odd as it cast almost no shadows.

Draqx walked smoothly in his protective suit through the oddly light space, the light belaying the scale making it feel like it was a massive cavern when it was only 25 feet high, but the lack of a distint ive roof and the feeling of space nade it feel more then slightly surreal. Draqx walked up to a red box like shape, distinctly coloured in the odd light and opened the lid to display a keyboard and console and a thin screen built into the lid. leaning the lid back so it was at almost 90 he started tapping in commands on the over sized keyboard, obviously sized for ease of use and presision with the sometimes bulky and hindering gloves of protective gear.
Soon a new light sorce appeared along one wall as a large rectangle was formed of amber coloured strips that pulsed in a moving way counter current to each other making an effect somewhat like a old style rotating warning light. This pulsed for several moments while sounds rumbled through the ground being felt in the feet. Then the wal opened in doors outlined by the amber strips and displayed an alcove where there was a large exoskelital suit in bright construction yellow looking more then slightly angular yet almost like a skeliton at the same time.
This mix of pure mechanical angles and almost biological curves was offset by a smooth looking pack arrangement and boxy containers set on the limbs. In the center of the machine was a standing chair looking arrangement where the operator was obviously supposed to be seated.
