Affiliate Guilds
The mission of the Lion's Pride Writers Guild is to create a positive and simple environment for members of the Gaia Online community to come together and share their stories and poetry with other guild members. We are committed to achieving a stable and constant flow of constructive criticism and honest feedback. Members are expected to be involved, spirited, and to contribute to all aspects of the guild, whether it is keeping up guild discussions in the main forum, taking part in monthly or bi-monthly challenges and keeping it civil. The Crew and myself are a dedicated team of writing enthusiasts who will do there best to provide online support and criticism in a fast and efficient manner while upholding the rules of the Guild and Gaia's own TOS. We at the Lion's Pride Writers Guild are committed to providing great leadership and a high standard of Guild excellence.

The Ol' Typewriter Guild is a place where you can feel free to post your work, look for critique and chat with other writers without having to worry about the hassles and ignorence of those who do not appreciate this art that has taken over a part of our heart and soul. Whether you're a casual writer, poet, etc. or a full-fledged I-Can't-Live-A-Day-Without-Writing fanatic, you're welcomed and invited to join us. All we ask is for you to be considerate and patient, because writing is a trade that takes time to do and appreciate.
You don't have to include much in your request to join. Just tell why you want to enter and why you like writing/etc.
Ornin versus Darwith

The year is 2044, several years after the war between the humans and mythical beings. A general piece has formed between the two sides but not for long. Ornin University, a school for the shunned creatures of the world. Here Randal Von Lerati plans the freedom of his people and grows an army of students should the day come that they need to defend themselves from the humans. Darwith Military Academy, a government funded experimental facility, made to create the perfect soldiers to go up against Ornin when the inevitable time comes to eradicate the beings from the planet.

- You find yourself spending more money on your hobby of anime/video games/comics/computers/d&d than you do on food.
You put off going to the bathroom or eating while you are busy reading/playing.
You probably live in your parents' basement to save money to support your hobbies.
The only way you will probably find a girlfriend is if she is as nerdy as you (or you look beyond appearances and see whats beneath)
You frequent conventions that cater to your specific hobby, or dream and/or plan to visit them. More points if you participate in them (volunteer, cosplay, competitions)
