I'm looking for a long-term 1 on 1 yaoi partner to RP any of a variety of possible EdgeWright scenarios. I -do- have a few plots in mind, all of which revolve around NaruMitsu, of course. XD Please message me if you're interested.
Plot #1:
- In the middle of some case vs. each other, a piece of evidence used in the crime will come to light: a type of drug powder that, when inhaled, causes people's inhibitions to weaken/lessens their ability to tell lies. Willpower and the ability to lie don't completely vanish, they just weaken; the key point Edgeworth wants to make is that though the defendant was drugged, they were still doing something they wanted to do (i.e. commit murder.) The judge will ask to examine the vial of the powder, and Gumshoe will accidentally drop it in the middle of the room. The glass shatters, of course, and the powder wafts into the air. Everyone is stunned for a long moment and inhales good doses; then Phoenix lunges out of the defense's area, grabs Edgeworth, and runs with him out of court as Gumshoe and Oldbag (we'll have to get her involved in this for the sheer humor factor) turns their heart-shaped eyes towards the prosecution stand. (Let's include the Judge, too, cause it's just about canon that freaking everybody has a crush on Edgey sooner or later. XD)
Once outside, Phoenix will protest that he did what he did to protect Edgeworth from his 'fans'. Miles can then ask him dryly why he wasn't concerned for Maya. Phoenix will blush and stammer. XD And eyes will lock, and Phoenix, to his horror, will realize he can't tear his gaze away. And that he's flushing. And his palms are sweating. And that everything must be clearly visible on his face. And he'll murmur something about blaming it on the drug, and Miles will ask aloud what inhibition it is the drug is weakening, to his own horror. XD Ah, gotta love those vocalized internal monologues.
Plot #2:

Anyway, Maya will do the same thing to Edgey once he reappears. She'll do it within Phoenix's earshot, neither she nor Miles aware he's there. Edgey being Edgey, of course, she'll be able to break maybe one lock, but she won't get any further. Phoenix will then appear, dry-mouthed, and another of his locks maybe might spontaneously break? XD Anyway, our now-seasoned defense attorney will continue questioning him, taking the Magatama from Maya and asking her to leave so that he finishes the questioning in private, with just the two of them. He'll press Edgeworth about his return, and the fact that Edgey has gone so far out of his way to help him on so many different occasions. XD

I'm ba-ack, armed with a sample of my RP as bait. XD This I wrote last night; I'm playing Edgeworth in a game based on scenario #2:
Despite the fact that it was a lovely day in late May, Miles Edgeworth sat in his office, drumming his fingers on an obstinately unresponsive manila folder. His attire was, of course, impeccable; the usual fuchsia suit appeared to have been purchased just that day. Other prosecutors would sometimes murmur among themselves about Prosecutor Edgeworth's attire - did he, in fact, have it cleaned, or did he simply buy a new suit every couple days? Only his personal tailor knew for sure.
Without thinking about it, he smoothed down his jabot (cravat) slightly in order to see more of the file he was perusing. Another case against Wright, it seemed; the thought of his usual opponent made the corners of his mouth curl up slightly in an appreciative smile. /Ah, Wright. You have the most ... endearing mannerisms in court at times./ Miles's eyes unfocused slightly as he thought of the way Phoenix would look at him when he thought he was making a point that couldn't be refuted. /Such confidence. But.../ But the best trait of all, in Miles' unvoiced, innermost opinion, was the look the defense attorney got when Miles himself would step in with some point or some piece of evidence to help bolster the defense's case. /Don't ever take up poker, Wright. Your eyes betray your gratitude./ His lips quirked incrementally further upwards.
Yes, Phoenix Wright was an attractive man, but mulling on that fact wasn't getting this case prepared. And Miles Edgeworth never, ever went in unprepared. Flipping open the file, he lifted out the first sheet just as his office clock struck four PM.
