'B-but,' he stammered - if he said anything wrong something like this might never happen again.
'I really like you and you are very pretty but I dont want to 'owned' by you,' he said, coiling a strand of her hair around his finger.
'Cant we just like each other and be silly together?' he gave a grin. He hoped he hadnt messed things up..

Hikari pouts a little. "oh, I guess thats alright." For now, she wispered to herself. When she set her sights on something, she didn't let it go until she stopped wanting it.

He sighed with relief. Well at least she didnt like, claw him or hit him or anything. Maybe that only happened on television? He was learning that life was a lot harder to deal with! He flapped his wings, making a small breeze, then stopped, tucking them back down again.
'You want to um - do something?'

Hikari snuggled close, purring a little, quickly falling asleep close to Saffron. He wasn't hers yet, but she would fix that one day soon.

Saffron curled a wing around Hikari, watching her sleep;
'She looks so sweet when she's asleep,' he mused, yawning sleepily himself. His eyes got heavy and he leant on her.

16th December 2004
Its gradually getting closer to Christmas and I have no idea what to get Saffron as a present. I know he would probably like comedy DVD's so thats an idea, or something to do with surfing. However, given how odd he's been acting since he spent some time with Hikari, maybe he would like her as a gift! He enjoys all the decorations being up - he played hide and seek in the tree yesterday, and he likes to fiddle with the twinkly light settings, changing them over and over to see the different affects.
Diary,
I didnt get chance to write down in this after I spent time with Hikari. I was worried she would follow me and find out my secret hidy place! It was really weird. She was very - huggy and she was nice to hold. Her hair is pretty. I think I like her, but she wanted me to be all hers, which made me feel funny. Like nervous feeling, but not.
Its Christmas soon - I think its a big person holiday where they have all bright things up, and give each other presents and eat until they go pop! Which sounds kind of fun.
My pummy-kin seeds have not grown yet but I am hoping they will so I can have more friends.
