Rules: 1. No flaming 2. No cybering (not that I think this will be an issue) 3. No racial slurs 4. No profanity (a word here and there is acceptable but don't make it a habit) 5. No spamming 6. If you know anyone interested in politics who is not a member try and recruit them 7. Overlook typos, if you need clarification ask the person but if its obvious what the person was trying to say just assume thats what they meant

Rules amendment and clarification
No Spamming
* Spam: Posts that are made that have no relevance to the topic, or any relevance to anything at all. * Examples of spamming: o Really short post that say nothing (E.g.- “Me too!” or “LOL” or other inane posts of that nature) o Sidetracking a topic into utter nonsense (E.g.- If the topic is Transformers and you start talking about food). o Random Smiley Posts. (It is one thing to respond to a previous post with a single smiley to convey an emotion. However posting a smilies without any reference or purpose whatsoever is spam and such posts are subject to deletion. o Nonsense (Making a random comment that is uncalled for, pointless, or silly or a combination of the three.) o Role Playing (This would apply if someone role plays and then others respond and everyone starts role playing in some scenario that is off-topic and meaningless. Role Playing that is allowed is to role-play a gesture, a single action directed at another member (as long as it isn’t very negative), or to show some sort of feeling. If the role playing takes on a “life” of it’s own then the moderator may do what is necessary to stop it.) o Authoritative gestures that aren’t yours to make. (Essentially, it is not your place to administer the law or to take action. It is ok to remind someone else of the rules, but if they are doing something wrong, contact one of the moderators and leave it to them.) o Making threads that have NO relevance whatsoever is spam. Asking "what kind of chesse do you like?" or "do you like mustard?" or "do you breathe air?" is spam and will be closed/dleted immediately.
No role-playing
* Role-playing: Taking action over the internet and posting as if it were an RPG you look stupid doing it as well. * Examples: o *gets into a Gundam and begins ripping Zakus apart* o *pulls out a uzi and kills his opponents*
No racist comments or derogatory comments about life choices
* Racist comments: Comments showing disdain for a particular ethnicity * Derogatory comments: Comments showing disrespect for people who have chosen a particular lifestyle including religious, sexual, and others * Examples: o "US should go bomb all the terrorists in those Muslim Countries, USA USA USA!" (clear assumption that all Arabs are terrorists, clear thinking that Americans are superior) o Example 2: "Stop acting gay you f*****t!” (using gay or f*****t as a derogatory term) o (Also refer to rule #2: No Flaming)
Direct Disrespect of Website Admins, Moderators
* Forum Authority: Twizted Humanitarian the guild owner and the Moderators * Example: "****ing authority you aren't the boss of me you stupid good for nothing pathetic tyrants etc etc"
Stretching the page posts, revival of closed threads topics
* Stretching the page posts: Posts where you don't break up a word with spacing stretching the page's width, like an "AHHHH!" with 100 H's. * Revival of Closed Threads: Posting a thread again that was closed by the mods by starting a new thread with intent to cotinue a closed matter.
Also please refrain from sillyness, now to avoid cofusion I will now provide an example of sillyness as defined by one of our crew members.
Silliness: -Mild silliness is obviously allowed whereas you may make pop culture referneces, mild to almost scathing comments on another user as long as they are not derogotory, you may write satirically, as long as in the same post the topic on-hand is covered and also witticisms and word-play are most definetly allowed. Also included is any other form of mild wit, as long as it approved by the moderators. -Absolute Pythonesque silliness is dissaproved, for instance, you cannot post: "I LOVE CHEESE!!! I EAT IT WHEN THE PINK FAIRIES TELL ME TO FIGHT AGAINST THE PURPLE PENGUINS WHILE I RIDE ON MY MAGICAL WONDER LIGER!!! -EXPLODES- MAN 1: And now for something completly different..." That would be considered spamming. Unless the thread is about cheese eating while in a magical war of fairies and penguins.
