"Paw...paw...paw...paw..." The black and white leopard repeated quietly to himself as he walked slowly over the stunted, ugly excuse for grass. He had no idea where he was going, but Stirika found it hard to make himself care. He grinned and then stopped before a tree, sitting and gazing up at it with his bright pink eyes. "Hmmmm, nice tree. Not so ugly as the grass at least." He chuckled slightly, then glanced about before laying at it's base, trying to curl up tight enough to have his entire body in the small amount of shade the pathetic litte tree created, though failing miserably.
He laughed again and then stretched out, his long, thick tail swaying slowly over his hind legs and back, as he lay in the slightly cooler sand under the tree. "So quiet around here..." He mumbled to himself.

"Don't like the silence, mm?" came silky, low voice. A leopardess stretched in a high brance that had been on the opposite side of the tree, leaning out of the shadows to catch the sunlight on her sleak black fur. Orange eyes glittered in amusement as Nuhusi stood up elegently on all fours and then came down to the ground with a graceful leap, landing a few feet from him, though it was a little more tipsy then normal. She was still getting used to the small weight gain she had recieved. But, more importantly, little company never hurt anyone, right?

"It's never been a favorite of mine, no." Said the male curiously, turning his head to look at whatever had just landed behind him. How hadn't he noticed that there was something up in the tree, when he'd looked at it first? Ika chuckled softly.
The black and white male pushed himself up off the ground with a slight sigh, as he'd only been laying down for a moment or two, and then turned, again, to face his company.
A quick flash of shock could've been seen as the passing expression in the bright pink eyes of the male as he faced his company, and they widened, surprised. "....I...Hmm...Do I...Have I met you before?" He couldn't help but quirk a brow and just continue staring. This female looked so familiar.
...And she reminded Ika of his mother. Very much so.
