The violet clad demon stormed out of his apartment, wanting to get away as quickly as possible. Raine was too happy, Riley was playing his music too loud, Joscelin was grumpy... DAMN! No one had time to go with him to... where? At the moment, Taion didn't care, just somewhere! He'd even settle with going to do some shopping! Yes, he was that desperate to go shopping.
Grumbling to himself, Taion wandered the streets, lost in thought. Now what was he going to do to occupy himself?

And what a coincidence! It just so happened that one Maura Des was.. GASP! Out shopping!
He sighed to himself, walking down the street, his wand tucked inside his shirt sleeve so it couldn't be seen by the muggles. He peeked in the windows of a few clothing stores, but they just weren't his type.. He was picky about his clothes. Very picky.

What a coincidence indeed! Taion was gazing around the crowd when he saw Maura. He certainly didn't fit in! Sidling over to the young adult, Taion smiled sweetly. "Looking for something in particular?" he asked, putting on all the charm. The boy looked like he could entertain the demon for awhile.

Maura's ears twitched slightly when he heard the voice behind him. He glanced back over his shoulder at Taion, his blue eyes locking onto the other's. He huffed and looked away, back into the window. "Yes. And it's not you."

"Now I didn't mention anything like that, now did I?" Taion asked with a smirk. "You said it, not I. I wasn't even thinking along those terms." Not that he'd mind of course... But he had a feeling the young adult wouldn't really appreciate that.

Maura breathed out, a bit annoyedly. Something always distracted him from getting what he wanted done. Something or someone. He glanced at Taion, clearly not amused. "Then what do you want?"

Taion smirked again, "I thought a young man such as yourself would require a chaperone. Aren't your parents worried about you being out alone?" Yes, he knew he was pushing it; talking to a complete stranger, and a testy boy at that.

Maura paused. Knowing his parents, they would be having heart attacks... But still, that wasn't the point. He glared at Taion. "I'm old enough to be out alone! I don't need a chaperone, and especially not if it's you!!"

"Ah well, excuse me. But you just didn't strike me as the type to go out alone. You look like you'd have more fun with a nice group of people," Taion said with a shrug. "Guess I'm wrong. And what's wrong with me? Sure I'm a tad pushy, but I can be a pretty good chaperone if I put my mind to it." Okay yeah... He really just needed to quit. But this was just too much fun to walk away!

Maura's blue eyes narrowed, but he didn't reply. Instead, he turned his back to Taion and stormed off down the street. Grrr! The NERVE of that guy!! >.< How DARE he talk to him like that!! He was Maura Black! No one spoke to him that way!!
