Eclipse stopped and looked at himself in a mirror of a department store as he mate stopped to use his cellphone and the kids were busy sleeping. He thought this was the perfect time to check his apparence though, with Absinthe flying around over head it is hard to do anything these days, he is far to scared that he would go bite some other rat.
Eclipse sighed as one of his sons started to cry, he walked around and picked him up and cuddled him, making sure he didnt wake his brother "shhh, its alright sweetheart, you just probably had a good dream" he said to his son, knowing that his children wernt exactly fans of sweet, wholsome, loveable stuff like other children were (unless it was the park and/or swimming pool), they were deffinatly different but then, with Charon and himself as parents, who could say different?
Eclipse started on down the street, his mate following soon after, wondering what to do since it was such a nice day and they definatly had alot of time to kill before Eclipse went to his business meeting.

As things went, not such a bad day. He'd wrangled the charm out of Ambrose for far less than either of them knew it was worth on grounds of a certain -ahem- about which they would no longer talk, thank you very much - and while Eden had been a bit of a brat, per usual, he'd actually. Well. Er. Of course he'd read the books Gideon tossed at him - he gobbled those up quicker than any student the rat had ever encountered. But today Gideon had actually done the favor of having read th books themselves so discussion hadn't been entirely frustrating - which it usually was moreso for the boy than for Gideon himself but--
Moving along.
The day had gone so well, in fact, that Eden had agreed to further social interaction. And now the two of them set off to round up Madison and Erasmus, wherever the two had wandered off to perform today - and then likely out for a bite to eat, which Maddie would complain about but would eventually be whined into acquiescing to. No, as such things went... not a bad day at all.
"He feels strange."
Eh?
Gideon paused mid step and glanced to where his erstwhile student was staring, off across the street.
"Like entropy. I can feel it. That's strange, isn't it?"
Given that Eden, being the anomolous magic null he was, should sense anything supernaturally odd about someone else was bizarre indeed.
But given that it was Eclipse, Gideon couldn't quite bring himself to be surprised. A little freaked, well, that was a given. But not surprised.
Eden blinked once in mild befuddlement as Gideon seized his hand and made for the closest open shop with suitable things to hide behind. ...What?

"I am going to cross over sweetheart" he said to his mate who pocketed his cellphone "its a little more shady over that side, better for the children" he said, obviously not even seeing Gideon seconds before. "Can you take Chandra please? He is still a little moody, try to calm him down?" He asked as he passed him over to Charon and started to cross over to the other side of the road.
Charon nodded and cuddled his son, walking after his mate as he kissed his sons forehead, trying to get him to stop whimpering a little and walked faster to keep up with Eclipse. "I think I will take him to the cafe you and I like, sit down and get him something to eat, a coffee for myself, I will meet you there?" He asked as he noticed Eclipse had taken an intrest in the store Gideon went into.
Eclipse looked back and smiled at his mate "yes, please, I will join you soon" he said kissing Chandra once more and then kissing his mate tenderly "see you soon sweetheart." He said as he watched his mate push the pram away and have Chandra still nestled in his arms, he sighed and looked into the window, missing his children already.
Eclipse pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind and walked into the rather large antique store and started to look around it, seeing if there was anything to buy while he was here.
