 The explosion that demolished part of the forest had devestating effects on the region. Hundreds of animals were killed and deforestation proved to change the climate from cool and humid to hot and windy. From the explosion though the cave to Lucretia's Lair had been uncovered for everyone to see. The explosion rattled the walls and shook areas not secured and uncovered many new passages and corridors inside the caverns. A little less than a quarter of a mile from the entrance an enormous chasm was unearthed with a natural spring bed splitting the area in two. Over time people wanting to enjoy the spring began to build in the partially forested area outside and within the next 75 years a medium sized city flourished in and outside the cavern. Cobblestone roads covered every square inch of the city that wasn't water or bridges and buildings everywhere. More caverns were discovered like the main one and intwined to others seperating the city into different areas of commerce.

RING! RING!
The woman's cell phone flashed lietting her know someone was calling her. Kalulu, who had been waiting for the woman to take her outside, rushed over to the nightstand and yapped away at the white-haired woman when she did not immediately move to answer her cell phone.
"All right, all right I'll get it. Shesh!" The woman crossed the small apartment flat and picked up the device glancing at the number before answering the unknown call. "Ya?" Inka asked looking out the window next to her bed and nightstand.
"Go to Cliffside."
"Hey who is this?! Is this some kind of a... great they hung up on me. Stupid prank callers," she snapped the cell shut and tossed it on to her bed. Kalulu barked twice at Inka. "What? I'm not going to Cliffside," Inka raised an eyebrow as Kalulu barked once at her. "It's nearly eleven o'clock at night. I aint goin' to Cliffside," she muttered something else walking over to get Kalulu's leash, "Look at this, I'm talking to a dog." Kalulu follwed Inka across the apartment flat continueing to whine till Inka finally looked down at her again. Inka sighed and looked at Kalulu who immediately stopped whining at her when she saw she had the white-haired woman's attention. "You want me to follow some crazy guy's direction 'n go?" To this the Jack Russell nodded and barked once. Inka turned and rolled her eyes reaching for her purse when her dog barked twice again. She glanced at Kalulu, then moved her hand towards her gunner gear, the dog barked once quite happily. "Fine, you're staying here," Inka said as she grabbed her gunner gear and cell phone from off her bed before leaving the apartment flat.
Down at the street she started up her motorcycle and slipped on her goggles before riding off down the street towards the forest and then on to Cliffside City.

The usually quick ride felt a thousand times longer with a boy who had never been into a city or even seen modern technology. Out of habit Inka drove fast, only slowing down when she could hear Oric shouting or something. "Welcome to Aquaria, the Underground Fortress." She said when they entered the tunnel, about twenty feet later the tunnel opened up to reveil the city of fountains, bridges, and the moon high overhead shining down making it unusually bright. It was going to be a long night, she knew because she had to explain all about the city and catch Oric up on "the norm".
Inka came to a stop infront of the building she lived it and turned her motorcycle off. "First lesson, this is a motorcycle. Its a two-wheeled comtraption that has a motor and is faster then any horse," she left out the part that it was mainly ment for one person to ride and not to be driven as fast as she had been going when carrying two people.

Inka laughed, "In the city, many people live together. We all can help, hinder, or ignore each other. I live on the very top floor." Inka dismounted hoping her landlord didn't give her much grief about having an unexpected guest. "I hope you like dogs, Kalulu's me Jack Russell Terrier," Inka walked up to the front door and opened it motioning for Oric to follow here. "This is an apartment building, many people live in the different rooms called apartments."

Oric began to walk up the stairs on all fours.
"So an apartment is like a whole bunch of homes really close together in one house?"
Oric continued to walk up the stairs on his hands and feet while talking to Inka.
"I think understand that. Oh, whats a dog?"
They eventually reached Inka's floor. Upon leaving the stairs, Oric stood up straight again and walked on two legs. Muchie was scurring through Oric's hair, peaking out in different places to see the surroundings and what was going on.

Oric waited near the door but looked out the window at the end of the hall. He ran over to it and saw orange, from the forest.
"Fire..."
Oric turned and left Inka without saying a word. He grabbed the railing and slid down the stair case railings until he reached the garage.
"I gotta get to the forest."
Oric ran over to one of the motorcycles and jumped on it.
"Come on metal horse, go!"
Muchie popped out of Oric's hair and noticed the keys were still in the ignition. He jumped down and twisted them. The bike came to life.
"Good job Muchie, you woke it up! Now how did Inka do it? She grabbed these horns, and pulled them to turn but how'd she make the metal horse go forward?"
Oric pushed and pulled at the handles until finally twisting them down and the bike sprang into action and Oric and the bike were screaming out of the garage.
