Kitara Kata
Jagger blinked and looked back at her as she stopped. Her question hadn't phased him at all, actually. But he just shrugged it off and started walking again once she continued moving. "That sounds fine." He nodded to himself, looking forward as they walked through the brush. It was still a couple of minutes walk from the burrow.
"And you're right, I do." He answered with a shrug. "You don't really know who you can trust. They might just leave you someday or worse."

With a sigh of gratitude, Kattana continued on in the fashion of a few paces behind Jagger. Her ears flickering in-between Jagger and the surroundings once again. Though some of her old personality was already starting to resurface way too soon. Her ears were sticking more towards the woods then the wolf not even five meters from her. She didn't know what to say after the hunting approval, so she just left it be.
They continued on in silence, Jagger being the one to snap it like a twig. "We're almost there." He finally said, his voice as kind as it had always been. Even though deep down he didn't trust this femme, old habits died hard. The kindness in his heart even from when he was a pup lingered. He might have been dirty and beaten and getting up in years... but somehow he still found the will to keep putting one paw in front of the other.
"You're a rather young wolf, aren't you?" The lemur-patterned wolf inquired as he looked back at her with bright orange eyes.
