Well i have a problem i've been looking at everyones art and all and trying to figure out how they do it. I have the paint shop pro 8 program and everyone seems to be using photoshop so thats my question whats the diffrence between them, is one better than the other? or do i need to take courses >.<

Paint Shop Pro is the poor man's version of photoshop. Photoshop is much more flexible and powerful -- you should get it if you can.
You can do fine with Paint Shop Pro, but the brushes are not as good, less functions for layers, etc.
