Ok if I used my friends ds with my AC game can I go on wifi?

Yeah, you just need to reconfigure your settings of the DS, I believe you go to Wi-Fi settings on the main menu and do "Connect to Nintendo WFC." Or I guess you talk to Copper and it reconfigures it? Something like that, I think you'll still be able to get on.
