Yes, it is the truth that at least a part of humanity is corrupted. But think about it - could you find any life at all that is perfect? I even wonder why we have the word "perfect" in our vocabulary; such word simply describes the impossible. I cannot agree more that there are a lot of things that need to be fixed, but some people, or at least a few people, are working on fixing it. I have been doing a research for my class, and it is quite apparent that in the US, crime rate has dropped in the past years, and it continues to drop even further. New laws keep on being made throughout the world in order to rule the chaos.

Now, as for the things that you listed - global warming, rape, murder, suicide, war, abortion, racism, sexism - these are exactly some of the things that humanity needs to face. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds to me that you are implying that humanity sucks because we cannot reach our own Utopia. It is very unfortunate, but imperfection will never cease to exist, and hence, "bad things" will never completely cease to exist either. However, it is my own humble opinion that a lot of these "bad things" are the things that many humans (I'm never saying "all" humans) do not care, and do not try to fix. Therefore I agree with you in that many people are ignorant of these things. But then again, it is merely one of the things that will never cease to exist, YET, one of the things that we could always try to fix and to improve.
