Akatsuki


Is an organzation consisting of the most talented and powerful Missing Nin in all of the Shinobi Countries. Our current objective is the capture of wild Biju, Jinchuuriki and powerful shinobi who have large bounties on their head.

There is more to this plan, but that is all you need to know. For now.

However, before you can work for Akatsuki first you must prove yourself. In order to do this we have to know who you are as well as have one of our core members support your bid for joining.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR AKATSUKI HAS A HIGH CHANCE OF PERISHING DURING THE INITIATION. THE AKATSUKI MEMBERS ALSO HAVE THE HIGHEST RISK OF DYING ON A MISSION.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Your first step is to use the Advanced Character Creator Thread to create a shinobi from either Genin to Jounin in rank. Rembmer to use the standard amount of points when creating and not the extra points given to Missing Nin, we are not common rabble like them. It does not matter what Country you hail from though I imagine the Hidden Shadow will not have any members that will be joining us......

When you have completed this task your next is to find an Akatsuki Patron to support you. Place your approved application in the thread of the Patron of your choice. Unlike how other teams are organized you will update only this sheet from your Patron thread. This will save space in the future since your partners can and will likely change.
NEW RULE: You may not choose the same Patron back-to-back. Example: You choose Sasori as a Patron and fail the test you can pick any Patron but Sasori for your next character. The character after that, however, may choose Sasori if you want.

Your next step is to prove your worth to your Patron and to myself. You are to complete both objectives set out for you flawlessly. These tests are not for the weak and there is a high chance that you will die in them.
**DO NOT CREATE AN INITIATION THREAD UNTIL YOU HAVE RECIEVED THE PATRON PM**

If you complete both of our Initiation tasks then you will rewarded the honor of being called Akatsuki and will be given the appropriate rewards from myself(See Below). Your Patrons may also be inclined to teach you some of their personal abilities, for a price.
At this point please place your character into the BINGO Book in the Advanced Shinobi Sub-Forum.

Finally, now that you are Akatsuki it will be time for you to assist us in our goals. In the Bounty Board there will be a listing of general Shinobi for you to hunt in order to bring in funds for us. The bigger the bounty the better the reward will be for you.

Those that work with Zetsu will be in charge of scouting for new Jinchuuriki and Biju for us to capture.

I will be personally assigning target Jinchuuriki and Biju for you to capture. However, if you have not already guessed, only one Patron may be in-control of a single Biju. This will make things more complicated for you and your partner when they are captured.

However, capturing a Biju is not as simple as it sounds. They are incredibly powerful and dangerous creatures. This power becomes more prominent when they have been sealed inside of a human, who can harness all of their abilities rationally.

The final sealing ritual will also require the help of two other Akatsuki as well as yourself.

Akatsuki: Items
Upon completing your initiation tasks you are able to use the following.

Akatsuki Cloak
A long, dark cloak bearing red clouds and a red interior with a chin-high collar.
Stat Modification: +1 to Stealth when worn, upgrades to +2 Stealth when Advanced Abilities are unlocked


Purple Nail-Polish
Used on the fingers and toes. Must be re-applied once a week in an actual post.
Stat Modification: When worn it adds +1 any Physical action performed by the Akatsuki, Offensively or Defensively. Techniques do not apply to this bonus.


Straw-Hat
Large conical straw hats with small spike-like bells hanging from them also.
Stat Modification: For RP purposes when the hat is worn with the cloak no one seems to "notice" that the Akatsuki members are Akatsuki. This allows them to walk freely through Shinobi villages.


Scratched Forehead Protector
The members of Akatsuki continue to wear forehead protectors from their former home villages, but scratch a line across the symbol of their village. This is done to indicate that their ties to the village have been severed and they no longer give any allegiance to their former homes.
Protection: +2 vs Physical Damage
*Unlike a normal Forehead Protector, this bonus covers physical damage done anywhere on the body not just the Protector*


Patron Pendant
Each Akatsuki is given a pendant on a necklace. The pendant has the symbol that matches the one worn by their Patron. With these pendants the Akatsuki is able to summon any biju that is in the possession of their Patron.
