I was just curious, as to whom everyone here enjoys as a chef and what restaurants you'd sell your family into slavery for for a table?

My Chefs would be Anthony Bourdain, Eric Ripert, Thomas Keller, Mario Batali, Gordon Ramsey and Alain Ducasse (aka God).

Restaurants would be Bouchon, Les Halles, Le Bernardain and Chez Panisse.

I'm so upset but I cannot remember the name of the place we went to in Quebec City. But it was the best meal I've ever eaten, and the best night I've ever had. It was New Years too, and Mom and I didn't eat dinner until 10pm. But it was AMAZING, and we rung in the New Year with the two who ran the place, and the 6 other people who were in the restaurant at midnight. It was awesome. If anyone is every in Quebec City, PM me. I can try to give you directions to get to this place; maybe one day I'll remember the name xd

Trying to find a restaurant I ate at before has caused so many headaches and having to suffer through bad meals. I've become almost OCD in my need to get a business card or picture of the menu every time I visit a restaurant where I enjoyed the meal.

in montreal, there is this resto called guido and angelina's. i had this seafood pasta dish with a good helping of cheesecake that was to die for. good food and service. very hmm, calm and possibly romantic setting.

Ever since I started culinary, I would be able to point out EVERYTHING that the restaurants would do wrong... it sucks because I know it's wrong, but I don't like to correct people.
