The Goddess of SleeplessnessThought and Aspirations become One under the Cloud's Shadow An SoA Quest of Insomia-Inspiring Proportions. ~My Goddess Lion, The Goddess of Sleeplessness, also called Insomnia, is a simple soul without the will to hurt or destroy, but neither is she kind and giving. She takes the ability to sleep when we are deep in thought, giving the seed that births ideas and musings. Samira, with soft paws that steal slumber, is the cloud that blocks the moon, that fades soon but at the moment changes night. She can also be violent, denying sleep to the panicked and stressed, destroying their sleep-deprived minds. Samira is all that is night-time ponderings and sleepless wishes. So, I quest for this, my Goddess of Insomia, and as one who has often felt her touch, I can only hope she is born into the night skies once again, my moon hiding cloud.~I've been a fan of all the wonderful RPers here for a bit now, so I thought I would save up so I might show my good intentions. And how better than to prove my willingness to join, my fervor to RP, than by showing enough determination and saving up for buying a goddess? So, here she is, my darling Samira, meaning 'one to have evening conversations.' And if you can't sleep, you either think or talk. Or both. I dunno... sweatdrop I really want to be able to get into these loverly RP circles, and I think that I might be a positive addition to most. And, if I can show my fervor and desire to join in, I might just get lucky and be accepted! whee Well, here's to Hope!

~Been a long time, but I'm still saving up! currently have a little under 27000!

~I'm not dea, just merely not here at the moment! Still broke, but I'll be sending money in for the letters tomorow or the next day.

~ Have 274,714 gold worth of donation items, plus a jan letter and a feb letter, of this year. I'm still saving up, however. I really don't want to sell my stuff yet!

~Spent 3000 gold on tickets in the Chinese New year give away, but I think its gold well spent. If I manage to get a cub, i will be content. if I do not, i will at least have tried! blaugh

~Got the donations, plus I'm holding onto a Jan 07 letter for later resale at a nice price. I think I'm hedging my bets, if I do say so myself! Up to 22k!

~V-Day! and the only item was a heart necklace thing. Ah, well! Still have 21k, but I spent a little on clothes (no more than 1k). I slipped, but only a little!

Information Goddess: Samira is the Goddess of Insomnia, or Sleeplessness. She is not one of the more powerful Goddesses, but shdoes play an important role in the lives of mortals. She is a very common part of everyday life, therefore she has a great deal of contact with mortals. She has been, over the years, gathering more and more emotions, losing the detached aloofness of her younger years. Now, as she steals dreams and sleep, she tastes them, learning the mortals hopes and aspirations... Stage: Adult History: As a young Goddess, she was cold but not unkind, taking sleep as she willed, not bothering with the condition of the mortal. As she came in contact with other Dieties, she saw their (sometimes) harsh conduct with mortals, and deciding this was wrong, began caring for the mental state of those in her power. At the moment, she is learning how to feel. Personality: As stated above, Samira is methodical, aloof, and just now realizing that though she is a Goddess, she can feel. Never one for theatrics or drama, she doesn't go for overstatements.

you might want to talk to the person who has the goddess of dreams to make sure your goddess isn't overridding that goddess's power.
but otherwise, I think this is a really neat idea. Good luck ^^

Dr Umeda you might want to talk to the person who has the goddess of dreams to make sure your goddess isn't overridding that goddess's power. but otherwise, I think this is a really neat idea. Good luck ^^ Thank you for the advice! Who, exactly, has the Goddess of Dreams, do you know? I don't want to step on any toes here!
