A song that always gets to me is "Where Did That Little Dog Go" from Snoopy! the Musical.

A lot of the ones people already named have made me cry (because let's face it, a whooooole lot of songs make me cry), but I'll add one more to the list (because I *think* no one's said it yet...)

'Anyone Can Whistle'.

Gah. I used to put the Mandy Patinkin tape in my walkman, curl up on my bed, find this song and *cry*. This was, like, third grade. Third grade through... erm, well, sometimes present. Because I just KNEW THAT FEELING, and here it was, finally expressed in words.

Not the literal inability to whistle, although I can't, and it started to take on a huge signifigance because of the song. When I was a kid, I didn't know how to be a kid. I was a stranger to the fun and carefree. And I had a fascination with dead languages, and a bunch of solitary, intellectual pursuits, but... *sigh*

So yeah. That one was a big deal for me.

And the first time I heard 'Jackie' (Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris), I was moved to tears.

Okay, I have to add one to my list.

Not While I'm Around from Sweeny Todd.

I've only seen the movie, but I absolutely adored the little boy that sang it! He was so darn cute.

Wow, most of mine are already here:

For Good - Wicked - I can totally relate.
No One is Alone - Into the Woods
You'll Never Walk Alone - Carousel (this one I ALWAYS cry when I hear).
Nobody Needs to Know - The Last Five Years AND
Goodbye Til Tomorrow/ I Could Never Rescue You - Also from L5Y.

Is it weird most of mine are uplifting with a sad undertone?

Solla Salloo, from Suessical- I'm not sure if that's how you spell it (I can't find my old script), but I played Horton when I did Suessical, and when I did this song, my mom said that I made a few people in the audience cry (woot!!!) and that she thought that there was something actually wrong with me because I looked so sad....

Ok, the one that gets me everytime is Those you've known from Spring Awakening. The first time I heard it I was almost crying before the song was half over.....And also from Spring Awakening Whispering (so haunting) and The dark I know well (gave me shivers) and Don't do Sadness/Blue wind (love it). And basically what everyone else has been saying.

"The Dark I Know Well" and "Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind" from Spring Awakening.
"Pope de Fous", "Vivre", "Lune" and "Danse Mon Esmeralda" from Notre Dame de Paris.
"I'm Not That Girl" from Wicked.
"Shadowland" frm The Lion King.
"Nobody's Side" from Chess.
"Unworthy of Your Love" from Assassins.
"I Don't Know How to Love Him" from Jesus Christ Superstar.
"I Know Where I've Been" from Hairspray.
"Days of Plenty" from Little Women. My friend sang that in a performance and I had tears running down my face.
