Jabari was busy roaming around the tall grassy area around his small den when he heard soft voices from near his mother's den. He sloly rose up on his hindlegs and gazed around for a few moments before spotting his mother, Ujuzi, Haveo and an unknown femme. Flicking an ear slightly, he lowered his front paws back down onto the ground and started to wander towards the small group of Wild Dogs. He was curious of this new femme and why some of the adults were gathered together.
As he got closer to the small group, he could hear them discussing about letting the femme join the pack. He canted his head slightly as he slowly started to walk towards his mother, his head held down slightly.

 "Potential." Haiji smiled at the male and nodded. "Haveo is a good judge and a very reliable member of our family. From what I have seen and heard so far, and with his acceptance of responsibility, you are welcome to join us Kianga."
She turned to her second-in-command. "And now, we must decide where to head to next." She mused, loud enough for all around her to hear. It would affect them all afterall.
But spying Ujuzi's son coming closer, she turned to him. "Ready to see the world? Your paws must itch for adventure." She smiled, remembering herself feeling that way when she was even younger than him.

Jabari was a little surprised to hear Haji ask him if he was eager to see the world. He didn't expect her to say anything to him. He nodded his head shyly, a little too excited to be wandering around, exploring the wide world they lived in. He often wondered when they would get moving. Maybe that's what they were discussing. "Yes, I am. I hope to also find the perfect female while we roam around." A hint of a blush appeared on his cheeks and he turned his gaze down towards the grass.

 Following behind, it was hard to believe that when Ujuzi first met Haiji she'd been just a bit younger than her pups were now, between childhood and adolesence. She'd known from the start that Haiji had leadership qualities, with how well she handled things at such a young age. Now, seeing her lead the pack now, even Ujuzi was a bit surprised by just how well the Akida had grown into her role, perhaps with more ease than even Ujuzi expected. It made her proud of the younger female. Their pack would grow one more, for the two that had been lost, and for now at least things seemed a little brighter.
When joined by Jabari, Ujuzi smiled softly, turning her head enough to give his muzzle a lick of greeting and affection. He was completely his father's son, already thinking about girls at the same age that Ujuzi had met Kengee.
Looking back to Kianga, Haveo, and Haiji, Ujuzi nodded to the stranger and new pack member.
"Welcome to the pack, Kianga." --Before looking directly to Haiji to think on her comment. "... Perhaps someplace closer to water. Prey would be plentiful... It would provide good practice opprotunities for the pups, as they're old enough now to join."
Ujuzi smirked a little then, amused.
"Not to mention it would only be fitting since the pack first reformed by the river."
