The thrilling song of a red crested bird came wafting through the window. Perhaps it came from the Gardens?

Fishers ears pricked at the strange sound which floated through the window, he looked outside into the sunny gardens and couldnt see what made the sound, but again he heard it delicate and soulful. It was a birds song. He decided to head outside to see what made such a sad song. Out in the garden he still couldnt see the bird but he could hear it much louder now, a song he didnt recognise, it must be an odd bird, he thought confused, i know most songs. As he walked under a blossoming apple tree he heard it. Directly above him was the most dazzling red bird he had ever seen, it really was beautiful, a very exotic creature. With a vibrant red crest.

The bird peeked at the small being, large black eyes blinking before he took off.
