You only see it once in a certain city in the game...but u can always go back to purchase it unless you go to the moon to fight melbu. I purchased three of the armors and legend casques to equip my char.s when beating the game. They cost about $10,000 each. How many of u went back to purcahse this fantasticitem after you saw it for the first time.

I bougt one for each party member, and only used one after that xp

In my opinion, they're there for having fun after you beat the game. I mean, if you stay behind to get them you're pretty much turning your characters into gods. However, you practically NEED the Legend Capsules to defeat Faust.

However, you practically NEED the Legend Capsules to defeat Faust. you don't need the nearly at all. I've beaten the game a few times mostly at levels lower than 35 with no special armor. after the first time, I didn't train and the levels got low.^^ but the armor of legend is in that winter place where you go back and face all the the former 7 dragoons.

u mean the crystal palace of Deningrad? ooo,i think that's what that place was called,my memory is fuzzy,& i've lost my ps1,along with my LOD,major sadness~ T.T
