What beautiful skies today, Sekizen thought to himself, resting on his back in the tall grass. The clouds went by so peacefully... quiet and wistfully... How he wished he could see the view from up there. He wondered if, once he was up there, he'd want to see the view from down here.
The cub rolled over and got up, starting to wander through the pridelands. They were his home, his special place. How he loved them. He could go where he wished, and do what he wanted. But no matter where he went, that black paw of his haunted him. He was the most unique out of his litter, but he found this to be a bad thing. Something worthy of harassment from his younger siblings... He shook his head as he proceeded to meander.

Eusi took a moment to yawn before going back to curling her tounge lightly around her toes and paws, cleaning the blood from them. She was slowly learning to take down bigger animals and she was quite pleased with that because they definetly contained more blood.
She sighed and stopped, crimson eyes flicking toward the sky. Her tail flicked once back, she was bored. Not lonely and not seeking other company as means of entertainment... but still, she was bored. "This place... is dullsville." She purred out to no one but herself and looked around again. What she should do, she decided, was travel!

Sekizen smelled a familiar smell on the wind, but he couldn't place it. He determined he had to find out what it was, and pushed on through the grass, his mind going crazy with ponderings, as it always did. Soon enough he could see through the grass and see the back of a lioness. She wasn't as old looking as his mother, (who didn't look old, really,) but still fairly older than he. He pushed through the stalks and cautiously offered a "hello".

Eusi spotted him and her body tensed. She snarled slightly and then smirked. She almost started to toy with the poor dear but after a sudden and mysterious mood swing she turned and slipped off, tail flicking back and forth in an annoyed manner.
Hopefully the little runt wouldn't follow her... and if he did? Well she would have to bowl him over.

Sekizen tilted his head, unsure of why the female seemed so... tense. He'd never met anyone that didn't respond to a greeting in the Pridelands. Maybe this lioness was having a particularly rough day.
"Are you alright?" He asked, taking a few steps forward but still keeping a distance from the lioness. At any rate, Seki was smart enough to see she wasn't in a good mood, but most could have a change of attitude within the day. Maybe he could cheer her up?
