In Independence High School, there is a ‘club’ of sorts. It’s not your normal club, mind you, it’s not known by the school administration or anyone other than the three members. It’s called The Sacrifice. Though, there really is no actual sacrificing going on, they just couldn’t think of a better name.
The few members in the club each have a different ‘specialty’...or should I say obsession? One member is your one stop shop for all your creature knowledge; Lycanthropes, vampires, zombies, you name it, he knows it. Another member is obsessed with Tarot readings/fortune telling and sacrificial rituals (the name of the club was really his/her idea) he also claims to be finely in tune with the spirit world. The last member of the club is a specialist on magic and wizardry, she’s even been known to actually cast spells. As I have said, this isn’t a normal club.
Because they cannot meet in the school, they take regular trips to a spot in the woods they call ‘The Sacred Area’ to discuss anything new they may have learned about their given specialties. The creature specialist tell new legends, the fortune teller gives them tarot readings (that are incredibly accurate) every week and the magic user shows off new spells or makes her old ones better.
During one of those trips, the fortune teller started to get one of his rare ‘contacts’ from the spirit world. He started yelling at the Creature expert, saying “She’s in your area! Don’t go near the girl! She’s too far in your area!” then he passed out. The other two assumed he had taken something before the trip and they ended the trip early.
The next week, the events of the past weekend were a foggy memory, though the thought still shook them up. At lunch on Friday, they were discussing the plans for their next trip when the girl who had just transferred there came up to them and said, “Hi, I heard you all talking about your trip and I’m a big fan of lycanthropes. Mind if I come with you?”The Creature expert, obviously crushing on the girl, immediately said yes. The fortune teller just hung his head and mumbled, “...she’s in your area...”
During the trip, she asked the fortune teller to give her a reading. Every time he tried, no matter how much he shuffled the deck, her card combination was the same and it made the Teller uncomfortable (which was hard to do, normally.) When he asked her about this, she ran off and the creature expert got up to look for her, only to be stopped by the Teller.
“Do you know what she is? Stay away from her, man, she bares the Mark. She’s too far into your area, no matter how much you know about her kind, nothing good will come of this! Do you understand?”
The Expert just pushed past him and left to look for her. He didn’t find her, but on Monday, she was back at school, although she was covered in cuts and bruises. When asked what happened, she just said that she fell, nothing more.
Who is this girl? What does the teller know that everyone else can’t seem to see? Only time will tell.

Background/Bio: ever since he was little, he’s been fascinated by the creatures of the old scary stories his parents told him. He was even a werewolf for Halloween for 6 years straight. Throughout elementary and middle school, he was picked on for his obsession, so he’s very distant around others. When he reached high school, he found others who shared his same interests almost immediately. They quickly became friends and he started the club. They’ve been friends and they’ve kept the club going strong for four years. Nothing ever exciting ever really happened with his town and the club, and he was starting to get bored with it. But now, with his friend’s recent ‘contact’ and this new girl showing interest in the club, he finds it more exciting than ever. Though he’s a bit nervous about the events to come, he’s anxiously awaiting anything and everything that may happen.

Background/Bio: She grew up in the aslym, where she had supposedly came in contact with her first spirit. From there, she moved out when she was 16, further increasing herself in contact with the other world. One day, a wandering ghost lead her to a rusty building, where she was given a pack of tarot cards, and a subscription to a strange book. Every month, the pages and everything change, like a new book, so sshe can keep up-to-date with everything.
She joined the group some time ago. Not much is really known about her and her parents for a long time. For Years, she has tried to make a connection to her parents, but it has never worked.
Then the new girl came along- She had a horrible Aura, and she is studing her silently, trying to find out a secret she knows the mysterious girl has.
