I liked it when they fluttered around on the page or in Towns. That blue block isn't as fun.

no it isn't. they do still float about, but i suppose they felt the need to make them more obvious for all the n00blettes out there rolleyes
in the blue block, and after you've clicked it and it's taken you to another page, you get massages telling you to hurry up and click before your gift expires.. ninja

Dad & I checked the links last night & I got a blue box & Dad got a wooden trunk. I should have just sold the box but I can never resist looking. I got a coon tail. That's a good item, but I got one months ago from a friend. Oh well-- perhaps I'll give it as a gift someday to some other newbie.
Dad is auctioning off his trunk. We're pretty disgusted with them; they've given us a lot of junk only worth around 200 gold. It'll still be on the market now--he started the bidding at 200 because he reckons that's all the junky things are really worth.

i didn't have AOL open when i got that, and i don't like faffing about with paint to crop screenshots.
and i have to make spelling mistakes sometimes Geo, to compensate for all the time i spend correcting yours razz
