Ruriska had been thinking, which in Ruri's case wasn't something she did often and could be dangerous under certain circumstances. So, in order to keep her mind off whatever it was she was thinking about, Nexi had suggested they go out. Somewhere, anywhere, just out; so that Ruri didn't spend anymore time staring at the wall.

It had been Ruri's idea to go down to the local bookstore. She had always enjoyed reading. It was a good way to distract herself, other than loosing to Nexi in a chess game for what would have to be the hundredth time. Standing beside the bookcase she flipped through the pages of a graphic novel, occasionally looking sideways at Nexi as he stared at the various book covers and tried not to bump into people.

"Ruri, I think I prefer watching the television." He said coming up behind her and looking over her shoulder.

"Well, maybe now that you can turn the pages, you'll like it more."

"Perhaps. Where are we going next?"

"I'm not sure. I guess we'll go get some lunch."

A young woman next to her drifted off into another aisle, acting a little to casually. Nexi chuckled under his breath. "I want a lime milkshake Ruri."

"Sounds good. Just give me a couple more minutes here."

Nexi nodded and wandered off to see what else was in the store.

Agent kept herself away from the graphic novels section of the bookstore. She knew just where she would end up if she even so much as approached it. Keeping to a whole other side of the store entirely, she acted as if the Kingdom Hearts Graphic Novels had a restraining order for her. Her hands skimmed over the spines of a few books. Some of them might have actually interested her had she not been distracted. It had to be bad for her health to be thinking about a game all of the time. But Kingdom Hearts wasn't just any game -it was what it was, after all.

...The fruit definitely wasn't helping her at all.

She could not hear the conversation going on between the girl and her friend, having turned up her mp3 player in an attempt to block out the thoughts that she was having. For some reason, it never seemed to occur to her that listening to the game's soundtrack wasn't going to assist her in the least when it came to taking her mind off of that same game. In fact, the music just seemed to be distracting her from the books and the store around her. As the song finally came to an end, Agent yawned slightly. Maybe it was time to leave before the clerk began giving her odd looks again.

The problem with being solid and being able to manipulate the physical world, however slightly, was that bumping things had a lot bigger affect that it once had. Where before his arm would go right through, he now had to push a little bit to go through things and when he did, sometimes things got knocked over. Like a bookstand for instance.

"Oops."

Nexi stared down at the pile of books that had just fallen to the floor. The dark haired 'hallucination' sighed and ran a hand through his hair, watching as a few puzzled people moved to pick them up. He left them at it, ghosting carefully through another bookstand to reach the biography section.

Ruri was still engrossed in the manga, muttering to herself under her breath and read.

Agent snapped out of her thoughts to look around. What was that? Not many people would make such noises in a bookstore, of all places. She peeked around a corner to see a number of people picking up the books. Surely not all of them had been involved. But no one was apologizing or taking the blame. Investigating further, she found that no one else knew, either. She sighed and regained her balance after helping put the fallen bundles of paper and ink back. Her concentration gone, the woman couldn't resist moving toward the manga. She let loose a soft, frustrated groan. Her will power had been completely drained -and she didn't specifically want it back.
