- What's the best possible thing a person can get on Valentine's Day? (Hey! Keep your mind out of the gutter!) Um, a Valentine to share it with in the first place?
- What's a verb that could describe the act of eating a dozen cheeseburgers in a single sitting? (Don't worry... this one has nothing to do with Valentine's Day.) I'm gonna go with "scarf".
- What do Beck, Suede, the Grateful Dead and Crosby Stills & Nash have in common (aside from the obvious)?
I really have no idea besides the obvious.
- What's something that's all around you, even though you usually think of it as being above you?
Air?
- What kind of a person is so cool that even Vanilla Ice couldn't diminish their awesomeness? I think I'm too young/uncool to get this reference...
Anybody else wanna give it a shot?

What's the best possible thing a person can get on Valentine's Day? (Hey! Keep your mind out of the gutter!) December's third donation gift was the Winter Rose. I'm guessing this one will be a red rose of some sort.
What's a verb that could describe the act of eating a dozen cheeseburgers in a single sitting? (Don't worry... this one has nothing to do with Valentine's Day.) Definitely a type of Scarf. Elemental Scarf, maybe?
What do Beck, Suede, the Grateful Dead and Crosby Stills & Nash have in common (aside from the obvious)?
I thought Woodstock '94, but Beck and Suede weren't there. I thought about Lollapalooza as well (a counter-item for the ORLY hat), but Beck's the only member who's been there. Googling the bands brings up only one thing that mentions them all, and that's a Yahoo!Answer site about this same topic. Which doesn't really give any clues.
I wonder if it has to do with re-naming, though. Grateful Dead = The Dead. Crosby, Stills and Nash = Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Suede sued a British band for naming rights and forced them to rename themselves in America as The London Suede (though it's also possible that these guys are the ones we should be looking at, and not the lounge singer). There's a band called the Jeff Beck Band, but I don't think Beck has anything to do with them, really.
Maybe they all covered the same song, or all have some really similar thin to song names. *goes to google*
EDIT: The London Suede (or just Suede) used a drum machine instead of a drummer when they premiered. Young, of CSN&Y fame used a drum machine. Beck has a song called "Little Drum Machine Boy," and is known for using machinery to produce sound (Guero, anyone?). Grateful Dead often uses one, though most notably on the album Infrared Roses.
That could be it, maybe? I don't think so, though.
What's something that's all around you, even though you usually think of it as being above you? Space. Air. The Sky.
What kind of a person is so cool that even Vanilla Ice couldn't diminish their awesomeness?
I'm thinking it's cool here as in the temperature. Some type of ice-weapon, maybe?

Something air related.

1. Jewelry? Flowers? Candy? Since there are three items, there could be one of each of these. Or none.
2. Scarf.
3. . . . Guitars? Some sort of musical instrument, I'd warrant.
4. Air.
5. Rapper. Wanna bet it'll be a "wrapper" of some sort?

All of the bands have a song called "Dark Star" or "Darkstar".

Dark star definitely fits in with the idea of "space", which fits more neatly than "air" as being above you.
And Father Blood Drench Robo Crush is definitely going to go with the David Bowie/Queen's "Under Pressure" for the last hint. I still get false hopes everytime that damn Vanilla Ice song starts playing.... mad Maybe it'll be a 'Queen of Hearts' kinda deal, like a crown? Ooo, maybe flamingo croquet... xd

I laugh everytime they show Vanilla Ice on VH1 explaining that the bass line isn't directly lifted from Under Pressure, because it has two additional notes added to the end of it.
n_n; Go Ninja, go Ninja go~~
