This is actually a story about an 'imaginary freind' I had. It wasn't imaginary and I knew that, but no one else did. This story takes place in the trailer park I used to live in. Please enjoy!
I used to live in a trailer park that had woods on the other side of the street from me. The woods played a big role in the 'life' of the 'imaginary' wolf I used to adore. I was young, maybe around five or six. I came up with some of the craziest things then. One of them happened to be a story about a wolf, a fire, and a tent.
I will tell you this now and I want you to pay close attention. All three of those things deal with the other. The story was about how this wolf used to live in the woods. It lived in a tent, for some reason I do not know, and the tent burned down. The wolf was asleep and it burned to death in the fire. There was a big burn mark on the ground on one of the outer edges of the woods where I said the tent was. That was where I said Mr. Wolf used to live before he died. I remember telling the story a few times as me and my friends walked by the area. It was something I did a lot and people enjoyed listening to me. I stopped telling the story after I moved to my house because I no longer saw the woods or the burn mark.
One night I remember looking out my window and seeing two glowing, red eyes peering at me from the woods. I closed the blinds and ran and told my mom and sister, "I just saw red eyes staring at me from the woods". My sister, as usual, called me stupid and then told me it was probably some one shining a lazor light or something. Being a smart kid, I knew what she was talking about, but I still had my doubts. My mind was too big too narrow it down to one thing and so, I kept in mind my companion, White Wolf.
A few years past and I grew closer to White Wolf. I would hang out in the woods and talk to him as much as I could. Sometimes, at night while I tried to sleep, I would feel him laying beside me. It seemed strange that an untamed wolf and a human could be friends in my eyes. I still find it strange that I never saw him. Not once did I see the spirit of that poor wolf, but I knew he was there.
Around my fourth grade year, my mom bought a house and I transferred to a new school. I spent a two years forgetting about White Wolf until my friend brought up guardian angels. She said hers was the spirit of a white tiger and I suddenly remembered Mr. Wolf. I thought, "How could I forget something for so long.". I gave it a little while and White Wolf and I were close again.
I talked to him every so often and my two friends didn't think I was crazy. I remember reaching down to pet him once and they both smiled. They couldn't see him, but neither could I and yet I was able to pet him. I told them about White Wolf and they laughed, but they believed me. It wasn't until then that I realized that those red eyes I saw when I was younger were the eyes of my Mr. Wolf.
The years have gone by so quickly. Upon entering my middle school, I slowly forgot about White Wolf. This time I didn't try and remember him. He was only a thing of the past. Now, I don't even know if he is still with me. I spent so many years not thinking about him that he just drifted away.

I did like it, but I would get scared a lot... Especially after I saw the eyes.
