A hundred bars ain't s**t to me. I wipe my a** with 100 bars. In fact, in one day of free writing I'll pull off anyway from 200 to 300 bars of random verses..I'm enough to cypher with myself...bitches.
the point isnt that 100 bars is nothing to write. the point is no one wants to take the time to read, and judge that much. it gets boring
Oh, does it? But the purpose is to prove that you can avoid boredom with such a long verse, and if you can keep a reader's attention for a couple minutes of lines on top of lines, then you've won the battle regardless.
Part of going that hard is to provide entertainment along with substance and organization via the basics. 100 bars shouldn't be frowned upon, even when simply presented in a keystyle...rather, it should be something you look forward to..like..
"I wanna see how this muh' ******** is gonna make me sit down and read 200 god damn lines of bitchin' and moanin' this time!"
