Okay, I've been having this problem where i am scared because of men. See I come from an abusive father, a train wreck of a divorce (my parents), an abusive realtionship (with a guy) and to top it all off I am always almost being molested or raped when I am at school. I am afraid of men, even though I think they are good looking, this may push me into being a lesbian; Is this in any case normal?

Emile Durkheim, a french sociologist, theorized that people are a product of their social environment, so if you believe in his theory, i guess it could be normal.
on the other hand, some people would argue that your surroundings have nothing to do with who you are or how you act.
personally, i agree with Durkheim...but thats just me.

you should probably ask other girls, but from my point of veiw, it looks like you're mind is making up for it's lack of emotional stimulation, at such young ages, teens are very suseptable to their emotions, and will do anything to experience them, a change in sexual preferece would only seem natural in your situation.
