If for some reason you didn't already know, this is the Updates Page. This page will list the additions and changes to the Guild and RPG as well as other information.


Rules & General Info
READ THESE RULES CAREFULLY AND KEEP THEM IN MIND AT ALL TIMES. BREAKING THE RULES IS BAD. BAAAD!!!
DEPENDING UPON THE SERIOUSNESS OF ONE'S OFFENSE(S), CONSEQUENCES OF BREAKING THESE RULES VARY FROM A SLAP ON THE WRIST TO BEING BANNED.


GENERAL RULES
These are to obeyed at all times, in or out of gameplay.
!!) Gaia TOS and Rules & Guidlines apply and are intimately related to the other rules. If you are not familiar with basic Gaia etiquette, read them.
1) No explicit/graphic depictions (text or image) of sexual intercourse or excessive gore. Farsend will most definitely contain mature themes, but should be presentable to a slightly "younger" audience as well.
2) Racially and religiously insensitive remarks made OOC aimed at other persons are not tolerated. One's expression of disapproval is not limited to spiteful words.
__> Discussion and debate can be handled maturely. Intenionally harmful remarks is a big offense.
__> Unintentional offenses are expected to be handled with dignity and respect (apologies and lack of flame posts).
3) Keep profanity to a minimum. If you can refrain from using otherwise offensive terms, do so. While there is much debate over profanity, it is wise to avoid confrontations of treacherous language.
4) Submit questions to one of the guild's mods and/or the Help thread ONLY if they are previously unanswered. We will gladly answer them and other members may help, too.

IN & OUT OF CHARACTER
These detail rules of the main RP only.
1) BE LITERATE. In-character (IC) posts are to be in PARAGRAPH FORMAT.
__> THIRD PERSON is a MUST.
__> PAST TENSE, while not required, is recommended.
__> Text talk, "L33T/1337," etc. are not appropriate for in-character posts. Do not use them.
__> The infamous one-word posts is evil and shall be smoten upon sight. Give other players something to interact with.
__> Proper grammar and spelling is smiled upon.
2) Remain IC in the roleplaying threads. If you absolutely must make an out-of-character (OOC) comment it should be distinctly separate from your IC post.
__> Braces {blah}, double colons ::blah::, font alterations, and others are recommended for this.
3) Only post in the roleplaying threads if you intend to actually RP.
__> Spam, advertising, flaming, etc. are BAD. VERY BAD. Questions, comments, and suggestions are not for the roleplaying threads either.

A synopsis of the last several updates.
7/5/07 ~
6/19/07 ~ Several worlds have been added to the main RPG's list. These are the one we can actually visit in-game. There is little time left to discuss opening worlds.
4/23/07 ~ A subforum for art, writing, music, etc. and another for small RP's are now available! Watch for the Final Mix + videos in the Multimedia section.
4/22/07 ~ Magic and Abilities are finally explained and listed in the main form as a sticky. Yay!
Sometime in Mar. I forgot to update ~ A subforum for general discussion and chatter is available.
3/6/07 ~ Character creation has been tweaked a bit. From now on, mods will roll the stats for approved characters. Those who have already rolled stats will may keep the numbers they already have.
2/12/07 ~ BurakkuRose promoted to Crew exclaim - congratulations to her. General Discussion sub-forum added, too!
2/11/07 ~ NPC and Plot discussion topic added to the main forum.
2/7/07 ~ A subforum to place all your characers has just been created.



"Members of the Moment"
A place for highlighting members who have made great contributions.
Anti Arbiter, Parami, and Unforgiven825 Have been quite faithful during the guild's unexpected hiatus. We apologize for the disappearance and thank these two for guild-sitting, so to speak.
Another reason to celebrate is the aforementioned Unforgiven825 is the latest addition to the guild crew. He looks to be a good addition to the team. Congrats!
