we have in this corner the punk hair styled silent protagenist from the populer SNES game Chrono Trigger.........Crono

But Add in anyone from Suikoden with a true rune and you have one deadly bad-a** that just about cant be stopped..

I've only played the first few hours of the second Suikoden and that was years ago. I've heard they were good games and I really wouldn't mind trying them, unfortunately I haven't been able to get around to trying them, I'm too broke to buy or even rent any of them. crying

Storywise? Crono FAR outclasses Cloud.

In terms of gamplay? Cloud's massive materia combinations win the day.

I might be biased due to the fact that FF7's my favorite game, but I think Cloud wins. Chrono just doesn't have the stats to keep up with him. His luminaire's a one-hit thing that does some damage, but Omnislash is 21 consecutive hits that all can do 9999 when he's set up right. That's the equivalant to 21 kills in both Chrono Trigger and FF7 to them. Plus there's the materia factor, which brings in the final attack pheonix combo. That pretty much garuntees Cloud for the win.

I prefer Cloud Strife of the FF7 since I idolized Tifa Lockhart of the FF7... It is obvious that Cloud is my bet! smile
