*UPDATES*

- I found 3 sources, but the movie, Moral Kombat is actually not even out yet

I started my senior research paper, and what'da know Im doing it on VG violence

I have 3 sources so far (for just general thesis information, its just preparation)

I have that shitty Jack Thompson movie that just came out, Moral Kombat
I have that large IGN article (http://wii.ign.com/articles/693/693243p1.html)

and I need one more (can't be from the internet)

Anyone know any books or anything about video game violence?

Go with a newspaper article. Most newspapers have full text versions of their printed articles on their websites, so they're pretty easy to find. Just cite it like you would a newspaper article, since that's technically what it is.

Like this one, for example:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/01/17/AR2007011702051.html

Video Game mags, and I'm not talking about that EGM garbage..
Gaming mags with good editorials, most notably those written by Geoff(Jeff) Keighley.

Or you could look for the book about video game pyschology entitled: Everything Bad for You is Good.

I dunno. I was pretty ******** weird in elementary school. I was addicted to Goldeneye. Weapon names would appear in my writing assignments. I loved playing that game, and I still do. I don't think it plays the smoking gun in shootings, but I don't think you can say it doesn't effect people. My 7 year brother used to flock to the couch and watch whenever I put Resident Evil in. He loved watching that. I'd try to swat him off as best as I could, but he's remembered item locations when I have forgotten them.

I actually remember seeing some book on video game violence on my campus. I'll keep an eye out for it.

My parents dont really care about whats rated what. My dad loves Violent stuff, since he was in the Vietnam war and only cares if I have the money to buy the game.
