I got so bored a couple weeks ago that I taught myself to play Tomorrow Comes Today on the mandolin. Granted, I didn't play it very well, but it was recognizable!
On a semi-related note, I love how a couple of the Demon Days songs incorperate orchestral string instruments. Like El Manana and Demon Days. I can play part of El Manana on the mandolin too. 3nodding

Ugh... you lucky hound. I want an instrument to play some Gorillaz songs... Like... a Keyboard for Dirty Harry (That'd be freakin' awesome..), and a violin (or somethin') for a couple of their songs...

Well the mandolin tunes like a cello, so that makes it easier. I've been playing cello for about two and a half years now.
(Cellos tune like four string bass guitars, don't they? C G D A?)
