Hm, I don't think they're working so well.
Firstly, to be picky about language, I personally wouldn't call them designs, since they don't fufill a need and they don't solve a problem.
moreso, these would land in the realm of composition and art, I'd say.
The first one is kind of boring. All of the elements are equally spaced apart, the photoshopping is kind of sloppy -- why can you see the hands of the clock coming out of the eyes?
I think that they show a level of photoshop proficiency, but beyond that, so what?
