Yes, Yes, I know that the Japanese version of a manga or anime show usually is better than the English DUB.
But I think differently for the Fruits Basket series, in which English beats Japanese but.
English version
-voices match their personalities -the guys don't sound like girls -you don't have to read fast subtitles -the characters mouths match the words they are saying -you can actually follow the story better if its in your own language ((that is if you are american))
Japanese version
-the guys sound like they are girls -subtitles that come and go to fast -fast speaking japanese talk that makes it very hard to follow the story ((no offense to any japanese out there)) -the voices sound like they don't belong to the characters.
Go on youtube and tell me here,

i stopped reading fruits basket, cuz it was too sad, but i'll eventually go back top it. so instead of cheating on youtube, i'll wait till later to watch it. whee

When I borrowed the dvd of Furuba, I kept switching to Japanese. It was easier on the ears for me. Though my sis wanted English. Sh'es only 7 so yea..
