MY RAEVAN CONCEPTS
for my own peace of mind, general insanity and much loving

Okay here I go *totally spazzes now*
To begin with the first and foremost!
Every credit for the Raevan concept goes to Kyoupiruchi. Worship her or die.
These particular Fel essences and soul ideas are a figment of MY imagination. No stealing allowed, unless you can prove you're me. sweatdrop
Nyu, after this, there're like... three concepts of combined fel essences and souls already. One more's on the way. Maybe two.

Concept one  Name: Jussarion Nicks: Jussa Fel essence: Escher Crystal ~This Fel essence looks like two rock halves that are connected through pillar-like structures, yet these pillars are constructed in some impossible way. They look straight, yet bend around and deform the space within. Soul: Naga ~This soul was retrieved from an ancient Naga egg. It was unknown what species this egg belonged to, so it was kind of a lucky shot. Powers and nutrition: ~Illusion ~feeds on creativity and intelligence Personality and traits: The fel essence makes that he often makes odd connections, or at least in other people's eyes. His ears are a little deformed, whih makes him rely on his sense of smell rather than on hearing. He is indeed a bit hissy in the way he speaks. These things make that he often gets frustrated when taking to people, and he tends to be quite menacing against strangers, even downright mean.

Concept two  Name: Laeft ~pronounce like you'd say 'left' Fel essence: 9 tails 9 lives ~This fel essence is found in the form of the afterimage of nine cats. Each of these represents one life of a nine-tailes cat, that died before birth, and for some reason did not get the chance to live any of these lives. They were preserved as a fel essence. Soul: Fenrir ~Fenrir, the hound of the gods. As a pup, he was alreadyfeared by the high gods themselves for his ferocious looks, and they made the one friend he had made trick him into playing a game with them. They challenged him to show his force. The gods took him to an island, and tied him up, but he broke free. They tied him tighter, and he broke loose. Until they tied him down with a fine cord made of magical and mythical essences, as fine as a maiden's hair. This time, he could not break free, but Fenrir already knew this wasn't a game anymore. Betrayed by his friend, he was left behind on the island, waiting for the Ragnarok, and on that day, he will have his revenge and help begin an new era. There's even more to this myth, but this alone proves that Fenrir is a creature to be pitied. I hope I can find a way to free his soul, and give him some peace, at least for as long as the Raevan lives. Powers and nutrition: ~Extreme luck ~feeds on solitude and silence Personality and traits: Fenrir's suffering does not yet shine through in Laeft's behaviour. He is more like a kittenplaying or a pup enjoying going for walks in the rain and coming home to a warm place. His above average level of luck is fortunate to him, yet he feels i when people want to take advantage of that. He won't 'push his luck' either. He fears authorities. Laeft sports eight tail-formed wings, the ninth should technically be on his nonexistant behind.

Concept three  Name: Zydrin ~pronounced like 'zee-dryn' Nicks: Zee Fel essence: Iridescent Droplet ~'droplet' is an understatement. it's a two-inch across orb. It's made of water that doesn't refract and reflect light, it traps the light inside it, making rainbow colours in the center and soap-bubble-like surface patterns. Soul: Praying/Preying Mantis ~don't know right spelling. too lazy to check. This mantis go captured because it was too damn clumsy. It tripped in some slippery substance Graficcha was working with outside, managed to knock itself out (it's a big mantis, it can) against a lamp post, and died right next to the soul bottle. There ya go. Powers and nutrition: ~Making sound waves by vibrating her insectoid wings ~feeds on artificial white light or sunlight Personality and traits: The soul gave rise to the antennae, the wing form and the mandible-like horns on her cheeks. Her hair is a purply reflectant black, her clothing and wings have a colour that resembles seashell innards. ... <_< you know, the pearly pink-white-blue-green pastel bubble surface thing how the hell did you call that again XD in dutch it's paarlemoer << Zydrin loves to quikly poke people and not get caught. She challenges hersef to snatch things away to give them back an instant later. She's also extremely clumsy. The slower the task, the clumsier.

Nyun, I have a few snippets here and there...
fel essence idea:
Lead Feather
A piece of lead that is so perfectly and finely formed looking like a feather, with space for blood canals and everything, how would any flying creature grow a feather of that material?
It's too heavy to use to fly, but shaped too accurately to be a natural formation...
Endoenergetic synthesis/katalysis - any kind that is usually exoenergetic- reaction
No idea how to put this into a concrete shape, but a reaction that usually would give energy, still goes about spontaneously, but it saps chemical/thermal energy from its surroundings.
Like reversed enthalpic behaviour or something <<

Well, I have no idea if I have to fiddle with layouts and stuff any more...
But I just really want to mention how much Lab 305 means to me.
You peeps make me feel I'm not the only one 'like me' around here.
You actually encourage artistic creativity and writing skills, two things I really admire, unlike 'some' of my peers.
And I want to become a real part of that someday, too. If I ever get the chance to RP a Raevan, I will do so with all my wits, and even if not, I'll probably be around here until I dissappear somewhere in a rainforest without any connection.
I'm still hoping I might run into one of you someday whee
I'll add more later. You're free to comment, criticise, flame etc. ninja

i really like the idea behind your first raevan concept...the idea of an Escher crystal is really unique!
good luck with your quest! i'd love to see how your IC reacts with all of a sudden getting to interact with all the owners! XD

I see peeps like the Escher idea... I came up with it sometime at five am in the morning when I went to have a glass of water.
fel essences are a challenge to make up... if the obvious ones are all ruled out already 3nodding

Your ideas in general are very interesting!! O: In overall concepts, I have to say your first one seems to be the most interesting!! Although I'm a little doubtful about your fel essence. The Escher Crystal plays with the illusion on the pillars, but you need a more solid description focusing on WHY it's a fel essence!!
If just looking at fel essence concepts, I think the Iridescent Droplet is the most solid one among them all. The idea is simple and rather straight forward!! Very good!! Lead Feather is also quite interesting as well!!
But I'm not too keen with the 2nd Raevan concept.
Keep up the good work!! And remember to come visit the shop someday!! X'D;

I very much like your third concept. Her clumsiness is adorable. Though I also like your naga soul and lead feather concepts as well. Yet, if I did have to choose I would most likely have to go with your third like I'd already mentioned. Good luck!

The Esher crystal's not an illusion at all. It's quite far-fetched, I know... can't really make it more solid, it's just two halves connected in a completely weird way.
Nya, and to be honest, the second one's my least favorite. That was spawned by someone I asked for inspiration, she said 'cats'. I kinda tried to work with that, but not by using a kitty soul.
