Ok, so I was really dumb the other day and accidentally kicked a speaker wearing sandals, and split my big toenail in two places. Now, I start pointe classes in fall, and I really want this to heal right.

Any tips on getting split nails to heal faster or better?

Ouch! Well our modern Ballet Teacher, who is a foot doctor, came into our Pointe classes at the beginning of the year and told us about all this stuff, and she said that if your toe nail, falls off (or in your case, I am betting this would work) to Glue back on the nail, or to pus nail polish on your toe/nail, so then in both ways it would provide protection! I will ask some of my Ballet friends that have had that happen, what they recommend, but I hope that helps for now!

I cut my toe, getting out of my car some how, when I was at my friends beach house, with a whole bunch of my other friends, and my toe started bleeding like heak! And then later it almost fell off, but I kept a Band-Aid on all the time so it would not, and it worked, and now my toe is back to normal!

You should put a Band-Aid on it and use closed shoes. (I believe that helps not to make it worse)

I was told something similar to what boardbunny240 was. When two of my classmates had split tonails, our teacher told them to go to a spa and have it sealed, or in the case of one of the girls, filled in where part of her tonail was missing.
