"Well, let's just hope she doesn't catch me on a bad night," Crimson said only half joking. His love for Shedoe was deeper than even he knew, but he did know that he would fight anything and go through anything just to be with Shedoe no matter what the cost. Even if it meant death to him, he would do it. "Can I just ask you this one favor? Don't ever tell me it's not worth trying, fighting, or dying for. Everything I do, I want it to be for you. I don't know what my life would be like without you in it. Ever since we first met, I knew we were meant to be. I don't know how, but I just knew."

"Eh... Save me the mushy talk, okay? But I wont tell you. Other's might, though, plenty of guys already think you're a bit nuts up here." He taps his forehead. "But whatever, You're with me, and I guess I just gotta deal with that, eh? But I will be honest with you. I will forever be cold, heartless and mean to you, no matter what my true feelings are for you. Because that's my curse. I'm not allowed to let people get close to me, and people usually wind up dead trying to get through my barrier. If you want to be a total idiot and go for my heart, I can't say i didn't warn you, but I can say I apreciate the sentiment, sometimes." He downed his wine and got up, before jumping over the balcany fence and walking down towards the beach, sitting himself down on the sand.

Crimson went and sat down beside him. "Eh, I can live with that. I'll be glad just to have you with me no matter what way I do," Crimson stated plainly. "So how about that walk? At least, thanks to Ronan, you won't be needing a leash," he joked a bit on the events from minutes before.

"I thought Dogs arent allowed on the beach anyway~" He taunted, before standing up. "It's been a long time since I last saw the Sea, y'know?" He said softly, waiting for Crimson to get up with him.

Crimson laughed as he stood up. The wind blew his long hair and whipped it about in front of his face. He grabbed it and threw it back behind him. "Great is its song along the ocean shore. Beating out its mournful rythm telling tales of frightful lore. Many a ship has it taken, but still no less be mistaken. It has its calm and has its rage, as it plays its part on the world, its stage," he recited as he just made it up in his head.

Shedoe looked to Crimson, and smiled lightly at his little poem before he paused, his ear perking up to the sea. A strange hollow and haunting tune sung out over the breaking of the waves. It had a haunting beauty to it, one that drew people to come closer, to find out exactly what it was that was singing so strangely.
"The siren.." Shedoe whispered hoarsly, looking out to the sea. He struggled to resist against the mournfull wail, it was calling to him, he could feel it.

"Shedoe, don't listen to it. Please!" Crimson cried out as he sonn figured out what Shedoe had been saying all along. "If you go, then I'll go to. I won't let you go alone. Ronan can bring us out in his boat if you truly must answer its call, but whatever happens, it happens to the two of us."

Shedoe looked to him, and smiled weakly. He looked rather distant again, and sad, as if he knew his fate and couldn't tell Crimson. With a breif kiss on the lips, the rabbit turned heel and fled up the beach. It wouldn't be impossible to follow him, if Crimson didn't leave it too late.

Crimson saw him taking off, and once again sped after him. He had to stop him somehow. He just didn't want to lose Shedoe as soon as he had gotten to know him. "I can't believe this is happening again! Good thing I practiced my running and am just a little faster than before," he thought as he nearly caught up with Shedoe. All he had to do was put in a little more speed and he could overtake Shedoe, but yet he just didn't have that energy. If he was still in his were state, he could probably take him, but in this state he just wasn't fast enough on his feet. Ronan had seen and heard all what was going on, and he had quickly sped up to Crimson on his dirt bike built for sandy travel. He grabbed up Crimson and hopped off at the same time as Crimson took over. Soon Crimson had caught up to Shedoe and attempted to grab Shedoe up.

Shedoe pulled away as he was grabbed at, before stumbling over into the sand. He struggled to get up, before simply giving in and laying there, staring up at the moon. The eerie song continued over the waves, calling to the rabbit, but he refued to move no more. He sobbed lightly, before glancing up at Crimson as he came near. "How can you love me?" He asked hoarsly, wiping sand from his face. "I don't belong here. I should've died a long time ago. I should have drowned in the sea like any other child."

Crimson stopped the dirt bike alongside of Shedoe. He looked down with sympathy at the rabbit. "I can love you because I see you for what you yourself cannot. I see your soul, and I know it to be full of light somewhere deep down beneath the veil of darkness. All you need is someone strong to stay by your side and willing to give his own life in exchange for yours to break the mask that covers the truth from you," Crimson replied breathing heavily from the chase. He then reached out his hand and offered it to Shedoe. "Come ride with me?" he asked.

Shedoe wimpered softly at the other's kind words, before taking his hand and getting up onto the bike, behind him. He hugged him from behind and just berried his face in the other's back, staying silent for now.

Crimson smiled as Shedoe got behind him and looked up at the moon. "I've got you beat now. You can't keep me a prisoner forever. Some day, I'll break the bonds you hold on me," he silently said to it as he rode the bike along the shoreline. He though about heading back to Ronan's but decided to just ride a little further just to feel the wind whip his fur. He didn't want this night to end, but soon the sun began to rise, and he made his way back.

Shedoe, surprizingly, had fallen asleep with his arms around Crimson, his head on his shoulder. He looked surprizingly younger when he slept like that, looking much more angellic. It became apparant that even through it all, Shedoe still wasn't dropping all of his guard, if the only time you saw him looking sweet and innocent was when he was asleep. The siren's song continued to make itself heard, even against the changing tide and hum of the dirt bike's Motor. It caused Shedoe's ear to twitch, but it seemed that that was the cause of his sleep in the first place.
Never the less, the dawning sun soon caught his eye as they headed back to Conan's, and he squirmed slightly, opening his once again pale eyes, and recoiled from the lights rays, behind the wolf.
