I loooved the music video. I know the song was originally by John Lennon, but they did a great job on it. The music video was really profound.
Discuss the music video, song, and if they did a better job than John Lennon on it.

I don't know, I loved their cover, but I really didn't think the video was that great. Yeah it gets the message across and such, but APC wasn't a band I wanted to throw political views into their music.

I have to agree- APC wasnt a band I was interested in hearing political views from- but the song is still amazing.
Oh and I have something against music videos.

I don't think they really should have done a cover of Imagine, it's just one of those songs you don't do covers of...

I haven't heard Lennon's verson yet, so I can't really say too much. I thought the video was sad even though it had different tibits of news. When it showed countries where there was starvation, it was sad. I'd say it gots it's message across quite well.

ok, i think that the cover did an awesome job of john lennon's song. i havent seen the music video, but honestly i think that a perfect circle is a pretty good band to have political views...maynard knows a lot about what he sings and does a good job at it. but thats just my opinion.... 3nodding

The vid was too blatant for my tastes. I prefer a bit more subtlety. But the song is quite gorgeous. I think I might prefer it to the original. It certainly does Lennon justice.
