"Well..." Galatea looked a bit sheepish, pink-cheeked and shy again. "I can't keep on the ground when we run. I have to fly. But, on my own, I've gotten much better and I can run for longer periods of time now. I try to be strong and capable, you see." She cocked her head to one side and considered her companion for a long moment. Then, carefully, she reached out to touch a piece of his hair. The touch was barely felt; the chill wind disturbed his hair more. "You would have to braid your hair, I think, if you would want to run," she ventured quietly. "You have such an awful lot of it."

Nero lifted a hand up, knotting his fingers through his hair and tugging on it a bit so that it fell in front of his eyes. Briefly a black and blue curtain descended in front of his face, but he parted it in the middle and tucked it back behind his ears, grinning. "I used to try to clip it - a very nice feien named Aerith gave me a clip a long time ago - before I gave it up. I'm afraid it's got a mind of its own and does as it so wishes. Though I've never tried to braid it, I'll admit."
He wasn't sure if he would run anyway. It was embarrassing enough to be slow as he was flying. And last time he'd tried any sort of physical training he'd shown literally no improvement, which led him to believe that he wasn't meant for any sort of exercise. But, well - maybe Galatea could do with a jogging partner. For encouragement, as she'd no doubt see how much faster she was than Nero and feel very proud.
"Maybe we could run together one day," he suggested brightly. "I'll even try braiding my hair."

((Sorry about the delay!))
"If you like," she offered carefully, "I can help you braid your hair. I've watched the Captain do it often and it seems simple enough." She wiggled her toes and folded her hands in her lap. "But you don't have to run if you don't want to. Not everyone enjoys physical exertion as I do. Mr. Silva does, of course, but I don't think Hadrian does. Everyone is, as Dr. Beckham says, different."
