Ny had been in the desert with Ra for a while now, she had been growing fast and she was growing stronger with each day. She found herself more at home back in the desert then she had been in the graveyard, the adventure was amazing, there was no doubt about it but life here, it was where she belonged but yet her heart would follow Ra always.
She stretched a little and walked to the watering hole leaving Ra to do as he wished. Today she would find her father and though inside she didn't know how to say the news she had or the reaction he would have to her being back she knew she had to do it.
She moved slowly towards the dens hoping a little that Ra would wake and follow her but yet at the same time, she wanted him to be happy and he would probably be happier away from her talk with her father.
She moved over the dunes swiftly before slowing to rest on one. She could see the den she was born in and something inside her made her feel sick. She didn't want to walk into her brother, not yet at least. She didn't want to go down either, she was afraid though there was nothing and no one that would be able to get her to admit that.

Teleka awoke with a start, he had another nightmare. This time about his son. Why did he ever have children? They gave him so much hassle. He was reasonably happy though, he still had his mate and his son was around to. At least that was something good, he still had a family, though he missed his daughter but then what father wouldn't?
He stood up and stretched looking down at his sleeping mate. She was still as beautiful as ever. He moved out the cave slowly and looked around, something he had done everyday since his daughter had left. He would scan the dunes for sight of her white pelt.
As he scanned the dunes today he saw her white pelt but just like the last few times he believed he had dreamt it, after all she was never really there. He turned to look back into the cave and then back at the dunes, something was different. She wouldn't normally be there if he turned away and looked again but yet there she was.
"Nyeupe?" He narrowed his eyes a little and saw her move. She never moved in his dreams. Maybe this time she was here but then again his dreams may just be haunting him even more then before.

Her golden eyes had been watching for a while before her father appeared. She became so still that the only movement was her breathing and even that she tried to calm, she didn't want to draw attention to herself and she also didn't want her brother to appear either.
When her father looked straight at her the lionesses mind was racing, what would she say to him, how could she explain Kwana and Ra. She didn't need to explain Ra, he was her best friend but yet the son of the lioness her father despised. Oh she could see problems coming of this.
It seemed something odd happened however and he turned away from her, she moved to a sitting up position but then laid back down, he saw her move.
She didn't know what to say but her father was suddenly running up to her, did he still now know how to be the non embarrassing father? She sat up again, as straight as she could. She still had her pride and she was also on her home land. Nothing was going to make her look weak especially with the chance of her brother appearing.

Teleka watched the movement and smiled, any disappointment or bad feelings he had towards his daughter vanished in an instant.
"Nyeupe! Where have you been? Why didn't you tell us? Whats happened?" The questions poured out of him but then how could they not, he hadn't seen his daughter since she was a cub.
He looked her over, her pelt was so white and clean, her eyes so golden, she was perfectly healthy and stank of Nuri but yet at the same time it wasn't Nuri's scent, it just reminded him of her.
He narrowed his brown eyes and watched her. "Do you know what your mother went through? She has been worried sick about you, wondering where you are what has happened. She is angry that you left us to go out there, what is wrong with you?" He was getting angry now, the joy had already been washed away.

Ny snarled back when her father started to.
"You think I don't care then fine. If I didn't care I wouldn't be back here now you stupid lion." She seemed to have a temper on her that was for sure but then she always had done.
"I met my aunt Kwana who seems to have it in for you father. I came back with a message for you and uncle Kimeti. She is going to kill you both." She snarled again. Family reunions never did seem to be a good thing around here, maybe it would be best if she left again right now.

Teleka was getting annoyed at the way she was talking to him but then when Kwana was mentioned he started to pay attention.
"Why are you delievering messages for her?" He was now the one to be snarling.
"You wanted to let me know that Kwana was going to kill me, thats what you are going to say well don't. The fact that you even thought of carrying messages for that girl disgusts me." He was angry now.
"Who have you been with Nyeupe? You haven't been alone as you stink of another." He wanted to know. Had she been with Nuri?

Ny was hurt. She had came back to help her father but yet he was saying all this to her surely he didn't mean it? She hoped not.
"I have been with Ra. He is my best friend and I love him not that it has anything to do with you. My message was for Kimeti and not you, I came to warn you but whatever. I will remember not to in the future." She wanted to see Ra, she needed to see him.
"Goodbye father." She turned to leave now, she didn't want to hear anymore of what he had to say, all he had done was shout at her and she hated it. She just wanted to be with Ra, curl up with him.

Teleka was fuming.
"Ra? He is Nuri's son isn't he? You went with her family! No daughter of mine would have anything to do with that family!" He watched her turn to go and found that he was still snarling.
"Don't come back Nyeupe." He let out a roar to warn her and turned back to the den, he had probably woken Kijinga up now.

Nyeupe had her back to her father as he told her that she wasn't part of his family and that she shouldn't ever go back, it was a good thing to. He had broken into her and she was ashamed. She had tears streaming from her eyes.
She needed to find Ra. They needed to leave.
